Mitch McConnell "struggles" a lot. When his goal for the past four years has been only to make this a "one-term presidency" when we have millions unemployed, and uninsured, people losing their homes, the whole financial system on the ropes and his top priority was to make this president fail at trying to solve the problems, (and obviouslycared less if the whole country failed with him) which he and his cabal have mostly created, why would anyone be surprised at what the pinhead says?

I've always hypothesized that Americans as a whole are an unintellectual people and this supports my theory. Its clear that republicans don't care about the nearly 9 million people that will loose health insurance if the affordable health care act is repealed. they only care about big business putting money in their pockets and helping them get reelected.

it doesn't matter that this law benefits everyone of us in some capacity. its not a perfect law but improve it not repeal it. yet all republicans have to do is simply call it a tax (even though its not) and people go crazy and want the bill repealed despite the fact that they may need it 6 months or 6 years from now. to top it all off, the man running around saying "elect me" and i'll repeal the law on day one is its architect....WTF!!!!

Well, let them follow the Republicans and repeal the law and see who will die by the wayside according to the same republicans. As God said, "my people perish because lack of knowledge." So, the people will be the ones that wll perish because they lack the knowledge that Republicans do not give a heck about them!

Although your assessment of Americans is pretty harsh, ("unintellectual"), I'm sorry to say for those who have a passion for killing the Affordable Health Care Act, its not quite that simple.

Its simply not in any part of the politicial ideology of today's Right that "government should have a responsibility in people's lives". They have no problem using tax dollars to go to unConstitutional wars, build lethal military weapons, accept the taking over of our democratic system by the super rich, but when it come to a healthy, viable, working middle class, its "let the eat cake" mentality.

Ths is where you see the huge divide today betwixt the Right and the Left. It is not what our Founding Fathers envisioned for us and they have to be spinning in their graves at the point we've come to.

i don't think my assessment is being to harsh because you can't have it both ways..... how do explain someone wanting to dissolve something that benefits them personally? again, republicans supported the basic principles of what is now affordable health act until Obama said it was a great ideal and took up the cause; then it became the worst ideal in history; how, why? its not just that, look at how republicans have come down on women's health issues. if your a woman how do you support them? look at republicans position on education, immigration and a whole host of issues. education is supported to be the backbone of our country but its the 1st place budget cuts happens. they talk tough about immigration but love cheap labor. they run around talking about how government is too big but no one mentions a word about cutting the more than 8 billion we spend annually on defense.

You bring up some excellent points and why we are so incredible divided today. The Democrats believe that to have a strong, viable economy, we build from the middle class out. In the end we all, rich and middle class benefit. The current Republican Party hangs unto the notion that giving tax breaks and benefits that support the wealthy will "trickle down to us all". They have been harping on this since Ronald Reagan, it didn't work then and it doesn't work now but they continue to insist on that theory.

The strength of America was built on the Democrat's premise and for 40 years while they held the majority in Congress this powerful country was built. They didn't do it alone. With compromise, discussion and debate the Republicans rolled up their own sleeves and together the worked for all of us, not just the very few. Therein lies our current problem. Until we get back to how we were governed before, its going to be a constant battle and in the end, no one will win.

the compromise has gone out of politics. companies are allowed to spend so much money to lobby for or against whatever laws best suit their needs. unfortunately most americans seem to not understand what's happening or don't care. the rich have gotten too greed because they don't seem to realize that without a strong middle class there will be few people to buy their goods and services...

You've probably nailed the real ideological differences tyrone in our political parties of today. The republicans/conservatives believe that the proven failure of "Trickle Down" is the way to go, giving the tax breaks and benefits to the super rich and hoping they'll pass it on, (which they never have and never will), and the Left who believes that a strong, viable middle class makes everyone better off.....an ideology which has already been proven to be successful. You only have to look at the 40 years of the democratic majority to see that.

But having said that, those 40 years of prosperity, fairness and prosperity were achieved with compromise, discussion and the goal of looking after all of our citizens, not just the chosen few. I sure wish we had that "old" GOP back.

I think the republicans realize trickle down economics does work. it didn't work for the 8 years under Reagan, 4 years under Bush (41), not the 8 years under Bush (43). They are only in it for themselves and the hell with the rest of us or the country as a whole!

you had Graham yesterday talking how the tax code is a game the rich play to see how my taxes they can avoid paying. these guys don't care about the country. unfortunately, the republicans that elect these jerks just don't get it.

where were they when that long line of $100,000+ vehicles was trying to get into those e. hampton estate to throw money at romney?

Sissy, we both know that many of the people lack in knowing certain things about the Republicans politicians. Republicans always have the bold face to say things that will destroy the middle class, yet the people put them on a high peddle. I honestly believe the Republicans do have a blast of laugh at the people sometimes.

Mitch McConnell is the same person who said that President Obama wants to give everybody access to health care and that government can't afford. He said that is too much millions of people to help obtain health care. He was asked what the people should do, and he said that in other countries people are dying by the wayside and nothing wrong if the American people die by the wayside if they can't afford to pay for their own health care. Because government can't afford and government shouldn't help them.

So for those people who are hailing the Republicans for Repealing the Health Care, they are doing nothing but digging their own grave. The reason why they want to Repeal the Health Care is to take it away completely. The replacing what the Republicans are talking about is placing with something that the people will have to spend every dollar they have and once that is done, it's done. Then the Republicans get their wish, "the people will start dropping down like sand flies!" Republicans are evil. And with the Tea-Party and Koch brothers behind Mitt Romney, the very same people who have the same idea as Mich McConnell who believe in seeing the people stay poor and suffer, the people know that is the chain of evil forces. The signs of the times!

It sounds like a typical Grayson rant where he completely distorts what someone said and makes comments like "the republicans want you to die".

Check out McConnell's exact words he used, or any one elses for that matter.
Nobody will be 'dying in the streets' or 'dropping like flies' for lack of health CARE.

0bozoTax isn't about health-CARE.... it's playing the health INSURANCE game which is all about the mighty dollar, control and removing choice.

85% of America was happy with their plans before 0bozo went on this crusade to destroy what we had to supposedly help the 45 million without insurance (not access to health-care itself) that numiber dropped to 30 million overnight after removing the illegal population from the speeches.

13 million of those will fall between the cracks being part-time employees who don't have employer based insurance and will now be faced with either adding a new payment to their budget or quitting their job so they can qualify for Medicaid.

The motive behind 0bozoTax is to force everyone out of the coverage they have now, put them into govt. approved plans they don't want and purposely crash the economy in the process. That would give progs the excuse to declare a National emergency and install the European - style govt. takeover they wanted in the first ...

It's all explained here in this piece written about a book that was compiled of interviews of those who were behind the scenes of it all - how the costs were hidden and how hos own economic advisors were against it.

This was truly, many criminal acts against America.

It is hard to respond to someone who speaks so offensively of our leader and I will only say this. IF you are satisfied with your own isurance, this Plan does not affect you one iota. Keep it, use it at will. Its for the tens of millions of those who don't have it, have lost their homes or savings because of a serious illness or injury, or are currently not seeking care for a suspected issue.

The ONLY way you will be affected is if your insurance wants to raise your premiums because you become too ill, drop you for same, or refuse to carry you if you have a health issue they don't want to cover. That's really awful isn't it?

If you bother to look at the statistics in Mass., it has cased little or no burden on the tax payer there. The fact that 98% of the citizens in that state have access should be celebrated but god forbid you haters do that. You should at least have sense enough to realiz that in the end we all gain because we no longer will have the burden of the uninsured carried on or shoulders because who do you think pays for that uninsured when they have no choice but to go to the ER?

    Bullsh!t
It is designed to drive every single American off their existing policy and you can repeat the smoke-screen 1,000 times to no avail.

Again with plucking the icing sprinkles from the turd and ignoring the facts that 0bozoTax has NOTHING to do with health CARE and everything to do with CONTROL.

What you blind with rings in your noses don't get is that the plan was never supposed to work. It was purposely designed to collapse but none of you will pay attention to the REAL ramifications and just keep chanting the same bullsh!t over & over.

Doesn't matter.....the jackass is OUT of our WH one way or another and 0bozoTax will be replaced long before Jan,. 2014.

I left the link above that contains quotes from 0bozo's own staff and outlines the corrupt manner in which they fooled Americans and outright lied.

That link is just the tip of the iceberg and criminal action should be taken against those who forced the CBO and OMB to molest the numbers to sell it. That is treason in the first degree and this will ALL come out now that Roberts has given reason to inform the public what this scam was really all about.
