Hundreds of protesters took to the streets of New York City last night, March 21, to demand justice for an unarmed black Florida teen shot dead by a self appointed neighborhood watch volunteer.
Many people at the "Million Hoodie March" event wore hooded tops
similar to the one Trayvon Martin was wearing when he was killed, the New York Daily News
reports.

"Our son is your son," the 17-year-old's mother told the
crowd. "This is not a black and white thing. This is a right and wrong
thing."

Jumaane Williams,
the city councilman arrested during last year’s West Indian Parade,
said, "I know I’m black. I reek of Brooklyn. But I'm not a criminal. I'm
a city councilman. Some of us are doctors. Some of us are President of the United States of America. Our blood is not cheap.”
On Tuesday, March 20, the Justice Department opened a federal investigation into the incident.

another black man gets randomly killed, and the institutions in society
that are supposed to respond, don’t respond accordingly," author Nathan
McCall says. "They blame the victim."
Zimmerman has fled his home and is in hiding after receiving death
threats. The Sanford Police had returned his 9mm gun and his weapons
permit HAS NOT been revoked.

Facing a rising tide of criticism, Sanford city commissioners voted 3-2 on Wednesday that they had no confidence in police Chief Bill Lee. Lee took over only ten months ago when the previous chief resigned amid
an outcry over his refusal to arrest a cop’s son who beat up a black
homeless man.
Even the Republican lawmakers who wrote the Stand Your Ground law
disputed the cops, saying Zimmerman went looking for a confrontation and
should therefore be arrested.
“He has no protection under my law,” former Sen. state Durell Peaden told the Miami Herald.
The lack
of charges against George Zimmerman has sparked protests that have
echoes of the Civil Rights era, despite the progress made over the
decades, the Washington Post
finds.

According to the Medical Examiner's report Trayvon was 5'11'' & weighed a 158 lbs.
That IS NOT photo of Trayvon. Its a rapper named Jayceon Terrell Taylor.

For you to actually believe the entire media is conspiring to show only 5 year old photos of Trayvon Martin is just f#cking stupid.
You're not only racist, you're stupid. And maybe mentally ill. That really is some full on crazy sh!t.

CVS is always full of skin head neo-nazis bitching about the lack of real German beer.
By the way, the man killed was white.
Mr. Zimmerman is still walking free.
If you don't or can't understand that, there is nothing more to discuss.
Since then Zimmerman, in my mind, has acted as though he is guilty.
Lying to a judge and getting your bail revoked wouldn't seem like the actions of an innocent man.
Those things are intertwined.
Right. That was my point.
{Those things are intertwined.}
Yeah, I can see that. Lie. Revocation. I get it. However, your first point was...
{Since then Zimmerman, in my mind, has acted as though he is guilty.}
Guilty of what? Greed, trying to keep his money or murder?
{Lying to a judge and getting your bail revoked wouldn't seem like the actions of an innocent man.}
Revocation of bail on something completely different doesn't prove his lack of innocence on the other charge.
That's all I was saying. One doesn't prove the other.
This video has nothing to do with Martin's killing. There are no similarities.
You never hear the same when a black man kills a whitey.
Al Sharpton never shows up to demand a demonstration.
You could just as easily got out of it that if a black teenager kills a white guy - they get arrested immediately.
Why didn't that point register?
