The Army goes twice a year. Well my unit goes twice a year for six weeks a pop.
To play war games, live fire exercises, basically camping.

Am I 100 percent positive, no. But I'm really close to that. Look at the video again with the sound off. Take a look at the vertical objects like telephone poles. Notice how they look 'warped'? That's indicative of the tracking lag on old VHS camcorders.

Plus which, take a look at the cars whizzing by. See any vehicles newer than 2000? :-) Closest I saw was a '92 Dodge Ram Charger.

The APC's on the train look kinda 'Desert Storm- ish' too.

Seriously? You really need to relax... not just for your sake but your kid's as well. If the entire might of the US military were about to be turned against you, you really think that fleeing inland would actually accomplish anything?

That other post might have been a little scary, so I wanted to back it up with a word of reassurance. There are likely far bigger fish to fry than we loud-mouths on sodahead and other online sites, even with the activities we may be involved with out in the world. I'm sure we'll catch wind of what's happening before they get that far down on the list. If not, it's just another thing we have no control over :)

Be at peace . Local newspapers are to easy to check and if entire local economies are collapsing they will surely notice .
Attempting to close even one base ( even when it is not needed ) is a major congressional battle .

That's a mighty big IF, but I'll grant you that! What could make the oceans on BOTH coasts come out of their basins? Were something that big to occur, I really don't think it'd matter much where the military bivouac'ed.

Yellowstone...boom. Of course, heading inland might not help, but it'd certainly force tsunami's...

Also a large scale systematic earthquake would also cause it, especially on the Pacific side.
