In an interview with People magazine, Michelle Obama admitted that she would trade places with pop singer Beyonce if she could. The First Lady admitted she didn't have the vocal prowess to take on the high notes, but is intrigued by musicians and entertainers. The interview was part of a promotion for a gardening book she's releasing next week, called "American Grown."

She told People, "Gosh. If I had some gift, I'd be Beyoncé, I'd be some great singer. The power of music, being able to play an instrument…It looks like musicians just have the most fun." She also explained that her husband frequently tucks her in at night: "I'm usually in bed before anybody. He'll come and turn the lights out and give me a kiss, and we'll talk. He's like, 'Ready to be tucked?' I'm like, 'Yes, I am.'"

I doubt seriously that you'd know where to start, his job is not a cake walk, especially going into it with the left over mess of Bush and Cheney. People might get tired of hearing that, or think that it's a cop out, but it is fact. However, in spite of what initially greeted him, he has done well. This post was about Mrs. Obama not President Obama, knowing how to follow procedure and protocol is a necessity, and if you can't even follow structure for answering a question, surely attempting to show the president how to do his job is quite presumptous of you.
  • Chip Max7 2012/05/28 15:18:50

You're right, it's a total cop out. For the first year or two you can blame the previous administration with little push back. We're coming up on 4 years now (and most likely another 4) and I think it's pretty safe to assume on the last day of his 8th year he'll still be blaming Bush for everything. It's sad.

With the mess Bush left for Obama to handle it would take at least 15-20 years to fix, so I don't see how this is some kind of "Cop-Out" answer. I'd love to tell you all the things that can't be fixed in a "long 8 years" but I hate fighting with stupid right-wing racists like you when I can't even see your face.

Rahm Emanuel. Corruption and how people get away with it has always been fascinating. Being on the inside of Chicago politics would be incredible. The godfather.
