In an interview with People magazine, Michelle Obama admitted that she would trade places with pop singer Beyonce if she could. The First Lady admitted she didn't have the vocal prowess to take on the high notes, but is intrigued by musicians and entertainers. The interview was part of a promotion for a gardening book she's releasing next week, called "American Grown."

She told People, "Gosh. If I had some gift, I'd be Beyoncé, I'd be some great singer. The power of music, being able to play an instrument…It looks like musicians just have the most fun." She also explained that her husband frequently tucks her in at night: "I'm usually in bed before anybody. He'll come and turn the lights out and give me a kiss, and we'll talk. He's like, 'Ready to be tucked?' I'm like, 'Yes, I am.'"

Well, I probably would choose no because I love my personality, but the thing is my life. It could be much, much better. So if I had to pick, it would be the girl in my imagination; fantasy.

Why would any First Lady of a country want to trade places with some booty-shaking singer? Beyonce doesn't have royal status. As a person, she seems okay, but as a performer, she's over-sexualized. Her vocals are okay, but they're not outstanding.

I can't think of a single person in today's society that I actually have complete respect and admiration for and would want to trade places with. I'm okay with me and although I'm still a work in progress, I'm getting better every day. God likes me just as I am.

perfecting myself to be who I am today and no one compares with that.
