First Lady Michelle Obama tells David Letterman that she and President
Obama try to instill the values of south Chicago in their daughters.
Michelle Obama: For us, it's the values. The thing that we try to do is
make sure -- the residence is on the second and the third floor of the
White House. And what we want to have happen is when they get off that
elevator and walk in to our residence that it feels like the south side
of Chicago, the same values, the same rules, the same sense of
responsibility.
Because, of course the stuff is different. There are butlers walking
around, you know? We didn't have that, you know. So, Barack and I really
do work hard to, you know, figure out how you create those values in
this other world that we know nothing about and we, you know, try to
make sure the kids have chores to do.
It's how they talk to us, it's how they talk to other people, you know.
It's kindness, it's empathy, it's respect. Those are the things that we
can give them when we remind them that is more important than anything
that they'll ever had. And then we take their stuff away if they don't
do it. 'Give me that.'

Anyway, this was from the letterman show, where I'm sure there was substantial ass kissing going on. But I really need to find out what this means:

If any people know what these so called values are, please enlighten me.

But she's an elitist cow, so what can one expect.
It was a loving and caring comment. She knows her children are living in a largely artificial environment and she is saying that she and her husband are trying to make their children as comfortable and "home like" as they can.
Your insults are completely inappropriate. She is a gracious and caring woman who is as far from an "elitist" as anyone could get.

President Barack Obama's 13-year-old daughter, Malia Ann Obama, will be spending her spring break in the Mexican city of Oaxaca with 12 friends and 25 Secret Service agents.
The young tourists will be in a downtown hotel in the city known for its colonial architecture and native traditions, reported a state police official.

"We are here to block access to the hotel by other people and escort the vehicles that are carrying the visitors to tourism sites," the police official told the AFP under the condition of anonymity.
