First Lady Michelle Obama defended Ann Romney today, after Democratic strategist Hilary Rosen argued that Mrs. Romney has "never worked a day in her life."
"Every mother works hard, and every woman deserves to be respected. –mo" shetweeted from her campaign Twitter account. (Tweets signed "mo" come directly from the First Lady, not campaign staff.)
Mrs. Obama's tweet is just the latest in the Obama campaign's efforts to distance itself from Rosen's comments. Campaign manager Jim Messina and poitical consultant David Axelrod last night both took to Twitter yesterday evening to condemn what Rosen said.

If not for the backlash, Barry and Mochelle would have quietly supported any personal attack on his most likely Republican opponent. That is what Barry is best at.

That said, I do agree with Hilary Rosen that perhaps the Romneys are a tad
out of touch with the economic reality facing most Americans.
The Romneys made $45 million total in the last two tax years, virtually all of it coming from investment income since Romney's full-time job is running to become the Republican nominee for president, according to tax returns listed on Romney's campaign website.

I thought these were suppose to be the smartest people in the world - legends in their own minds so to speak.
Wonder where were all the apologies from the right when they've made jokes about Mrs. Obama. None were forthcoming ever.
The GOP can cry "wolf" all day long... they been doing it for the last 3 years...
