    Mexico has no second amendment. No law-abiding Mexican citizen can own or carry firearms for self-defense.

    This has been Mexican law for decades.

    The result?

    Tens of thousands of murders in Mexico every year with a higher rate of violence than the average war zone.
    Not a single drug cartel member has any problem getting guns.
    The Mexican police roam the streets like an occupying presence.

    If we want to become more like Mexico, then we should follow Felipe Calderon's suggestion.

    He needs to shut his pie hole. He has no business weighing in on our laws, considering millions of his people have broken them by entering this country illegally. What he should do is ask our leader and his lapdog AG why they allowed Fast and Furious to flood his country with weapons that were used against his people. Thousands have been murdered in Mexico but he is worried about 12 here? He needs to remove the beam from his own eye before he worries about the splinter in someone else's eye.

    This is like someone taking aspirin while hiting himself in the head with a hammer! The question should be WHY is there guns and violence in Mexico and along our borders with them? It's because our citizens enjoying corrupt lifestyles want DRUGS! And laws against drugs and guns have not been nor will work. Americans want to get high instead of contributing to society. We glorify Hollywood elite and 'musicians' that live corrupt perveted lifestyles that glorify violence and getting high while tuning out;- all the while sprewing empty refuse words of peace and love. Thank the liberal elite for 'educating' our peoples that fullfilment of self comes before contributing to society. Making laws to control guns or drugs will never work when you are a hypocritical nation. Looking at the results instead of the causes never works either

    I want adequate and enforced gun regulation that is fair to all and has strict rules about any violent acts involving guns, The NRA should be pushing for clear and concise laws and punishments for use of a gun in criminal activities instead of just blocking all attempts to pass new guns laws!

    Why,to make it harder for Americans to defend themselves from his people sneaking over here. I feel we need to be harder on illegals. I firmly believe the first time an American was killed by an illegal it should have been handled as an act of terrorism, and the first time an American official, whether it was border patrol, or cop, or meter maid. It should have been handled as an act of war. We all know damn well had it been an arab or a muslim doing what the mexicans are doing that is exactly what would have happened.

    Perhaps he needs to be more concerned with what his own people are doing and less about us.

    Calderon wants our country to be like his! There are thousands of civilians being killed by the cartels, because mexico's ban on weapons has been a plus for these criminals. You can't even carry a knife, they will put you in jail. Calderon needs to shut up and keep his stupid comments to himself.
