Robert Menendez is one of many Senators who have shown no regard for the US Constitution. He also is unusually sleazy even for New Jersey. A lot of people in Hudson County, New Jersey, will corroborate what I say, and what the author of the linked article says, if they're not afraid to talk.
Now why is this relevant to those outside New Jersey? Well just remember that in 2009-10 Robert Menendez ran the Democratic Senate Campaign Committee. He was the guy who dispensed campaign cash and had the job of hanging on to the Senate and expanding the Democrats' hold on it. Well, he lost the Kennedy Seat and a few other seats. So how good an asset is he?
More to the point: a United States Senator, more often than not, takes votes that have nationwide consequences.

Well, no.
His family got out of Cuba before Castro came to power.
It was "capitalist," or maybe "fascist," Cuba that he fled. And like so many progressives, it's convenient for him to conflate capitalism with fascism.
That's why he's one of the biggest progressives in the whole United States Senate.
That's why the Tea Party would like to see him gone.

I remember our teacher raving about the change. Myself, I don't see any use in replacing one tyrant with another. It bothers me greatly that the USA got involved and screwed up in about the worst possible way. People, such are our Rulers, then and now!
If smart New Jersey citizens care about their state and the future of our country, they will send Menendez packing and I hope he takes Debbie Stabenow with him.
Between him and Senator Cadaver, NJ would be better off with NO senators at all!
