"Matt. 25:34-40 is the only bible passage where Jesus says who can get into the Kingdom. I don't understand how any Christian can read this verse and rationialize their opposition to Health Care Reform. Won’t you join me in praying for health care reform?"

Response to [user] who has me blocked:

Jesus speaks of individuals who of the own free will choose to help those in need. This choice is made by the individual who donates time and/or money.

Public free health care at the expense of the working denies the individual the right to make the choice of charity (or not) and forcibly takes money from those who work so that it may be given out at the descretion of others where fraud and corruption may skim off the top.

It's simple logic: I choose to love my neighbor as myself and I give. Others want to force their ideology of love on everyone including the unwilling.

    Thank you. Charity is a wonderful thing, but is it charity to give away someone else's money? Message to BOB (I'm blocked too) : Do you think Jesus would approve of partial birth abortion? How about the government paying for abortions? I'm thinking probably not.

    Yeah bob, why do want this so bad? If you really are in a union, you won't have to be in it. I'll make a deal with you. Since you want this lousy, corrupt legislation to pass, why don't you let me have your plan if it does, and you can have wonderful obamacare.

    And if you are such a Christian, why do you have most Christians blocked because they beat you in an argument?
