Whoever stole some discarded equipment from outside a pathology lab may have gotten more than he or she bargained for: Orlando police say the equipment, worth about $500,000, is contaminated with a substance that could eat away at human skin.

A pickup hauling a trailer pulled up to Florida Hospital Center for Diagnostic Pathology earlier this month and took the equipment from an enclosed area near a large garbage bin, police said. Officers said they think the thief or thieves wanted the equipment for its value at a recycling center.

Now, the machine is digesting two obese thieves, slowly, but completely. In time, the machine will be found with the shoes of the thieves in the output bin. Serves them right. Put the machine back on the street corner in Orlando and let it do what it does best.

Here is a great investment opportunity for some entrepreneur, make and market these thief eating machines and sell them all over the world. An IPO much like "facebook" in the making - hyped to the hilt and ready to consume your savings account and 401k, or all of you if you steal.
