John McCain created these monsters.

According to McCain supporters:
-McCain's middle name isn't Hussein
-He doesn't kill babies
-McCain isn't a fascists
-He's not a liar and a thief
-He doesn't believe in socialism
-McCain isn't Muslim
-McCain is not getting shot
-McCain is "the bomb" (early 90's slang word)
-You don't even have to ask

In conclusion, America will be divided into two angry sides in November 5, 2008

If the moronic right decides to revolt against the PRESIDENCY, I think they will get a major surprise! Not only will the full weight of our Nationa Guard, military, FBI and Police be brought to bear, but the MAJORITY of the population will also be against them. We already have social programs - the Department of Defense is a rather large social program. Did you think it was comprised of state militia? Nope. Or maybe you think its comprised of mercenary troops? Nah! The VA? Part of the DOD and full of programs to benefit members of this society who are in need due to their service to the country.

Use your head - our society is full of social programs, from our roads to our police, from the safety net of social security to the education available to every American.

We will be fortunate indeed to have so bright a person to be our president should Obama be elected.

The US government is and should be in charge of the military and our homeland security.
The local police and infrastructure in controlled by the individual local governments and the federal government intervenes only when disaster strikes.
The social security system is almost bankrupt and the government run education system is terrible and is why anyone who can afford it, will send their kids to private school.
This bright person you're talking about is just a glorified lawyer with a questionable past and a socialist agenda, and it concerns me that this lawyer could be our commander and chief, seeing as how he has no military experience, much less any leadership skills.

The Republican Party has changed quite a bit since the days of Lincoln. Teddy Roosevelt was in favor of an income tax far more progressive than the one Obama proposes.

Roosevelt stood against big business in favor of employees, issuing 44 lawsuits against major corporations, and suggested the courts were biased against labor unions.

He was the first U.S. president to call for universal health care and national health insurance.

He created more national parklands than all other presidents combined, committed to preserving our natural resources against the ravages of industry and development.

And he was a Republican. But today's Republicans don't share his views, any more than they share Lincoln's. In fact, if Roosevelt were running today. McCain would vilify him as a socialist.

I've been on this earth for 40 years, and the only places I've ever seen "hate mongers in white sheets" is on TV, apparently in certain parts of Georgia.
