"Some, not all, people have become less civil to those with whom they disagree politically. The modern left, birthed with the start of the eugenics-loving, racist progressive movement at the turn of the 20th century, always has embraced, to varying degrees, the concept of silencing opponents. Through the factions of communism, socialism and fascism (all takes on the same philosophy), leftists have made continuous attempts to silence and punish anyone who doesn’t toe their line."
By taking such a biased worldview of anyone who differs from you politically, you feed into a dynamic whereby no one outside of your narrowly-defined belief systems would choose to see you as anything other than an enemy.

United we stand, divided we fall.
Those with the most brains AND brawn win...that 'should' be the way this world works. Unfortunately people see brains as a lazy way to escape developing brawn, and one can seem brainy with nothing more then a copy+paste of wikipedia.
At least brawn can't be faked. And when the demo's finally finish screwing up America, you guys are going to need a hell of a lot of brawn.
We need to stop falling for this red and blue crap. After all, if we the people are so damn busy rooting out "gotcha! moments" on the other side, we really are not looking too deeply into what is actually happening, are we? We want to get that guy oh-so-bad... and ignore what our guy is up to, or we'll cover for him/her. Make excuses. Of course, each party says only the other party behaves that way. Bull sheet.
I have seen brilliant politicians at the local , country and state level. Both Republican and Democrat. On the national level, it is all about keeping high numbers in order to control the House and Senate. There it become poltical theater with special interests in control.
I think there are facts supporting your point of view but there are also fact that are against your point of view.
Both leaders of China and Russia want to be dictators, I don't think they want to take orders from a Global Government.

That's useful knowledge.
Communism is a theory about economics that has never been applied in any remotely successful way, but which has been used a number of times as a marketing tool for people to support what have amounted to variations on fascism.
Fascism is actual. It has occurred, and it can be a self-sustaining mechanism, given its often ready embrace of Capitalism, standing in stark contrast to Communism, a partial explanation as to why Communism doesn't work.
In point of fact, then, this country has practiced a variation of economic fascism for much longer than the Democrat party has been the party of choice for "Liberals", through administrations on both sides of the aisle, and to choose to see what you call "fascism" or "communism" as being the exclusive domain of either party is to reject half of the available information, information that is readily available.

Examples of this abound: our defense policy is driven by the economic goals of defense contracting agencies that have lifespans (and sometimes internal management structures) that amount to immortality in comparison to the ephemeral nature of any given presidency, cabinet assignment or military appointment. This is economic fascism.
To suggest that this state of affairs represents a Liberal orientation or desire seems, well, kind of silly, given that it's often one of the few areas of bi-partisan agreement while constituencies on both sides react to decisions made with disgust and anger.
Sorry, I won't make that mistake again.
