I do firmly believe we will have an economic collapse with hyperinflation. If roads and gas is limited then good is limited because trucks bring us our food. Six meals away from total chaos. It will turn into a civil war. Obama declares martial law and then people feel threatened.

The percentage of our debt to GDP, no country has been that bad and recovered.

I don't blame Bush for everything... But he sure did more than his share as is Obama... and how can anyone ignore the fact that, economically, we were in far better shape prior to Bush? And, yes, Obama has done his damage too... no doubts, no denying.... but look at the economy from when Clinton left office, the huge downward spiral ever since Bush got in, and yes, continues to this day... No, Clinton was no peach either, but we were in damn sight better condition on his way out before Bush took office... Honestly? I think our last good prez was JFK... and even he made his mistakes, but overall, a good prez...

You only said what you meant to say, and the jist of it was to put more blame on "Bushie"...given that you MIGHT be at least partially right, what happened with all the HYPE about Hope and Change Obie promised? The one thing I'm very sure of is he is ramming Socialism and even Communism down the throats of America faster than they can swallow it, and that alone makes possible a civil war..do the math, Link...who is buying half a BILLION rounds of .40 cal hollow points, and for what purpose? Like I say, it sure ain't target practice! Now you, Sir, have a choice. You can grab a shovel and start digging in, or you can go over to the Dark Side and become more of the problem.

And I agree there... Hope and Change didn't exactly happen the way he promised...

I believe Homeland Security is already deployed to crush any uprising that local police can't handle. Obama has a private army that doesn't get much publicity.

and who got the giant entity we call homeland security instituted and gave them ridiculous amount of power?? Bush, not Obama... who instituted (or tried really hard) censoring and monitoring of messaging and such for treasonous acts such as speaking down about the president? Bush....

Classic red herring. The facts still stand. Nationwide deployments and redefinition of mission have been quite recent.

True but Homeland security started out good and small..it grew into a monster and BO loves it..just for the record here, BO agreed with EVERYTHING Bush did and said till he started campaigning..then he did a 180..

Bs the depression the times before the first civil war and the early 1800s were all worse then our current times the only people I've even heard talking about civil war as more then a joke is fringe cons that most others cons think are a bit too paranoid and jumpy.

Ah, the wisdom of the youth....how inspiring. So, you think Department of Homeland Security bought over half a billion rounds of .40 cal Hollow Points just for target practice? No, they didn't..it's to give them the power to round up and incarcerate fools like you who will protest the hyperinflation and lack of food when the SHTF, along about election time...which will not happen, because Obie will declare Martial Law and suspend elections....

I could go on a debate about how really judging by age that's the best you got or I could go on to describe how the gov has stockpiled arms and munitions in the past just like now but it was never used or I could debate about the fact I wouldn't be just protesting but you know I've learned one thing from SH it's that you can't debate against stupidity so I'll leave ya with this doubt there'll be a civil war but if there is cons are my first target for my ak.

It's inevitable, in my view. And it might happen prior to the collapse of the dollar (which also is inevitable). Just look at the dissatisfaction with government. Then look at the SodaHeads here. Do most SHs blame our problems on the entire government run amok? No, the liberals blame the conservatives and the conservatives blame the liberals. The Democratic politicians can do no wrong in the liberals' eyes, and the Republican politicians can do no wrong in the conservatives' eyes.

Consequently, we have a nation where the voters are the problem rather than the politicians being the problem, and specifically it's the "other" voters who are voting in a Marxist; or the "other" voters who are voting in a fascist government.

So while our government problems ARE centered in Washington, rather than an uprising to overthrow the government and begin anew, it will be voter against voter in a civil war. I fear the end is approaching rapidly.

Your view of the problem is partially astute and partially idiotic. "the Republican politicians can do no wrong in the conservatives' eyes" is the most ridiculous statement I have read today. Most conservatives are disgusted with the Republicans for being "Democrat lite" instead of real Constitutional conservatives.

I think that a divorce is in order. http://myrightwingdad.blogspo... Short of that, I think domestic violence may ensue, because those who think that they have a right to other people's stuff will just take it once the government can't take it on their behalf due to the collapse, and those who have it will defend it, and the "news" outlets will make it sound like a bunch of evil "right-wing extremists" and the mindless moochers will rise up to "get even with those evil rich people" once and for all. Then the troops come out to kill everyone, and we have martial law, and Obummer is dictator for life.......

See how clever the progressives are? Obummer IS trying to collapse the economy, because he knows that his useful idiots won't blame him for it; they'll blame "the 1%;" those who know that it is Obummer's fault aren't stupid enough to riot like idots, but they will be put into a position, much like in Britain, where they have to defend themselves.

    >>>See how clever the progressives are? Obummer IS trying to collapse the economy, because he knows that his useful idiots won't blame him for it; they'll blame "the 1%;"<<<

Please don't take this as support for Obama - I don't believe for a moment that there's one whit's difference between Bush's goals for this country and Obama's goals for this country. I believe Bush laid the foundation with the Patriot Act with this specific purpose in mind, and I see Obama simply continuing the same direction.

So when you say the the progressives are clever, just remember who began this most recent plunge of government doing "what's best for all of us".
