Hell Yes. Someone seeing that gun (or knives) could have caused a MAJOR rampage out of the theater.

If you are that scared to go to the movies, then don't go to the movies.

If he was carrying, but didn't use them, then no... If he was carrying with intent to use and did use them, then yes.

If the information in the news clip is correct then my answer is yes. This man has medical condition in which he is not allowed to have a firearm and did not have a carry concealed permit. I do not agree with the criteria for getting the permit in my area but this does not mean that I ignore the laws.

Crap :: I should have clicked NO!

He had "A" gun.. as in ONE gun... NOT Gun(s).

No.. he should not have been arrested - - The cops should have been standing in the back of the theater protecting people, instead of out in the lobby, or hiding the back room talking about football.

If the guy was uncomfortable - he should be allowed to be able to protect himself.

If he didn't break the law then no. It isn't illegal in most places or for most people to carry guns or knives. However if he broke the law than there are consequences.

In light of what just happened, I think so. Was he a copycat? Did he intend harm? Was it a stupid statement? Who knows... lets the courts figure it out.

I don't know enough about this to fairly say yes or no...

Apparently, he had no license to carry concealed weapons... therefore he broke the law as it stands... it is against the law to carry weapons into a theatre... therefore broke the law...

So, with what little I do know, I'd have to say YES...
