A reality show that we all know is fake was in a competing time slot with the SOTU that we all know is fake. The reality show had more entertainment value.

More taxes, federal expansion, control over the common citizen, restriction of trade, social engineering to accomplish political ideals, etc. Then there were more insults, cutting remarks and lies against his opponents. There was no meaningful or honest attempt at reconciliation or teaming; just empty words followed by more threats and lies. What will we get - more governments,higher taxes, less quality of government deliverables, crummier public schools and a decaying infrastructure. But the prez will have his million dollar vacations, photo ops, golf and hob-nobbing with the wealthy (that he claims to hate). Oh yes don't forget the prez is getting richer and richer everyday and will leave office vastly wealthier than when he started. Hmmmmmm. Just another rat in the whitehouse.

Same here on that rule. I always argued the "i before e except after c" rule. Elementary School teachers were always very sensitive especially when you point out words in a dictionary that proved that rule wrong.
I believe there is payments under the table going on.
