Despite rumors, Lil Wayne was not shot at an airport nor is Lil Wayne dead. Lil Wayne's death rumor was stirred up by an online prank, which became widespread and hit media sites that took for truth the rumors of Lil Wayne being shot at an airport.

Lil Wayne's real name is Dwayne Michael Carter, Jr. Lil Wayne is Dwayne's stage name, which became popular in 2004 after Lil Wayne released 'Tha Carter.'

Lil Wayne has been charged with illegally wielding a gun at his concerts, having large amounts of marijuana and cocaine, and for selling illegal drugs.

Would you be upset if the Lil Wayne rumors (that Lil Wayne was shot dead at an airport) were true?

Some people haven't, but the people who only like him because he was "cool" have. I mean, how much of the world thought he was a complete pedo homosexual and shunned him? Half those people said they were "fans" after he passed away. Only his true fans remember him at now and the only reason he's still on T.V. is because it's news the appeals to the people and the media has nothing better to talk about. It'd be the same in this case. Don't get me wrong, I don't hate either of them, but people have short attention spans, so it's only logical they'll stop caring after a short period of time.
