Libya's Moammar Gaddafi vs. 'Two and a Half Men's' Charlie Sheen: Who's Crazier?

One is a brash, tough-minded, filthy rich, trash-talking megalomaniac known for living an opulent lifestyle and traveling in a circus-like entourage that includes a buxom nurse … and the other is Charlie Sheen.

So who is the crazier one?

In light of Sheen’s hyperkinetic media blitz on Monday strafing his bosses at “Two and a Half Men” and Moammar Gaddafi’s stubborn refusal to listen to his people’s calls for him to step down, the New York Daily News put the two men side-by-side in a crazy-off and the similarities might shock you.

For instance: both have colorful alter egos/nicknames. Sheen was born Carlos Estevez, while Libya's Gaddafi is sometimes referred to as “Brother leader and guide of the revolution” or “Kind of Kings in Africa.

While Sheen has bragged often this week that he is a hyper-evolved being who has “tiger blood,” Gaddafi has vowed he will fight until the “last drop of blood.”

Sheen took a prominent role in former madam to the stars Heidi Fleiss’ Black Book, while Gaddafi is known for writing the “Green Book.”

Gaddafi has been lashing out at his enemies by calling them “cockroaches” and “greasy rats and cats,” while Sheen is using terms such as “earthworms” and “fools and trolls” to slam his detractors.

They’ve also deployed their considerable armies to lay waste to their enemies. In Sheen’s case, he boasted, “I’m an F-18, bro. And I will destroy you in the air. I will deploy my ordinance to the ground,” as well as warning, “there’s a new sheriff in town. And he has an army of assassins.

Gaddafi, though, has an actual army of assassins that has been sent out to quell protests and has dropped actual ordinance on the ground to take out enemies.

So, who is crazier?
