The prevailing assumption, which underlies most teaching, counseling, and child rearing, has been that our private beliefs and feelings determine our public behavior.

    Why do conservatives rely so heavily on their lies and distortions of the truth? Lying is communication with the intention of creating a false belief. A sarcastic statement which is intended or expected to create a false belief is a lie when it creates a false belief. If a statement is true, but the communicator believes it is false, it still counts as a lie.

    Lies are typically motivated by a desire to persuade others to act or to refrain from acting in a certain manner — or to make decisions in one's favor. Sex, money, status, control, power, love — anything desired can provide temptation to kill, steal, corrupt, commit fraud, destruction, chaos and lies. This is the conservatives construct and tactics.

    Credibility, on the other hand, is a form of wealth. Everyone with honesty and integrity has access to credibility. If credibility is squandered like Romney and Ryan did, believers are less readily available for them — but "there are suckers born every minute". This is reassuring only for persons who are content to continually populate their lives with newly-born "suckers" such as yourself Cup Cakes.

    We should add one more thing that your are always intent on exhibiting, Most of your creed aren't even aware of there own dysfunctional thinking and antisocial behavior.     In every age it has been the tyrant, the oppressor and the exploiter who has wrapped himself in the cloak of patriotism, or religion, or both to deceive and overawe the People.

    But they can rule by fraud, and by fraud eventually acquire access to the tools they need to finish the job of killing off the Constitution.

    Let's use Romney as the example and his $21 million income from Bain Capital as the example of your delusions!This will show just how uninformed you are.

    Romney's current tax rate is 13.9% on $21 million in income because of something called "Carried Interest" (NOT ALL DIVIDEND INCOME). Basically, It's a share of the profits of an investment partnership that is paid out to the manager of that partnership. According to his recent released tax return, as manager of Bain Capital, Mitt Romney received $12.9 million in carried interest over two years. Because he invested OTHER PEOPLE'S MONEY -- it was a -- "CARRY" -- and he was taxed at only 15%, not the 35% that regular income is subject to (This is called a tax loophole Cup Cakes and is one of many the rich have). So on that $12.9 million he paid just $1.9 million in taxes at the 15% rate, instead of the $4.5 million he would have paid if it had been taxed as regular income at the 35% rate. That is an extra $2.6 million in Mitt Romney's pocket. It is all legal but it's a loophole that benefits all of the Filthy Rich.

    In 2009, at the height of the economic abyss, 25 of the top Hedge Fund managers on Wall Street collectively made $25.3 Billion (Over $1 Billion each) in income that is taxed at 15% because it is in the tax loophole called "CARRIED INTEREST" instead of the 35% taxed on regular income. Where did this tax loophole come from that allows the Filthy Rich to pay a tax rate that no other middle or poor class worker gets?

    Bain Capital, other Filthy Rich people, The Financial Industry, Corporations, and Wall Street flooded our Congress with their lobbyists to bribe our politicians with campaign contributions to rig our tax system for their benefit, and too screw the rest of us. The middle, and poor classes don't have the money or can afford the lobbyists to bribe our politicians. Some Democracy !!!!!!!! CNN's Chief Political Analyst Gloria Berger called a number of of the people working in the financial industry to see if they could justify this loophole, but outside the private equity lobby groups, no one even tried. Almost everybody agreed that it is right to reward people for investing THEIR OWN money, because it encourages them to start businesses and create jobs, but this is not what is going on. Few agree with rewarding someone who invests OTHER PEOPLE'S money and take no risk themselves.

    The average person can give a gift of $13,000 per year to their children and family members tax free, with a lifetime limit of $1 million dollars. Romney, through the help of retired IRS agents, found a loophole that allowed him to give his sons $100 million dollars which gives each of them an income of $1 million per year in income off of that money. And Mitt Romney pays the taxes on his sons annual income at his tax rate of 13.9%. Hey HALF-WIT, IS THAT WHAT YOU ARE REFERRING TO AS AN EVEN PLAYING FIELD.     Federal revenues dropped to 14.8 percent of GDP in 2011, lower even than the 14.9 percent attained in both 2009 and 2010. There has been only one year since World War II when revenues have been as low as in any of these years: 1950, when the figure was 14.4 percent.

    So, what actually caused these deficits? Republicans howl that President Obama has exploded the size of federal government spending in his short tenure as President, and it is true that he has increased it for very good reasons not created by him. But President Bush actually increased federal spending by more than 2X as much as Obama has. So it is unfair to lay the explosion in spending at the feet of President Obama. President Bush cut taxes in 2001 and 2003. These tax cuts hit federal revenue, while federal spending growth continued apace. This combination ballooned the deficit in the early years of the Bush presidency. But then the bottom fell out. The housing bubble burst, the financial crisis hit, and the economy plunged into recession. And then President Bush handed President Obama the worst recession in more than 70 years and left Obama to clean up the mess.
    This recession clobbered federal revenues (tax receipts), which still have not regained their 2007 bubble highs. President Obama's stimulus, meanwhile, helped add about $600 billion to federal spending which helped keep the country from sliding into another Great Depression.

    THE ECONOMIC DOWNTURN
    In 2009, economists estimated that the economic downturn increased the deficit by about $426 billion in 2009. This assumption is based on two factors: (1) the loss of revenue after an economic collapse and (2) an increase in automatic payments as more people are forced onto unemployment insurance and other forms of government assistance.That adds up to about $1.1 trillion in deficit spending that had nothing to do with Obama. Aside from bailouts (which sharply decreased in impact in 2010 and beyond), these impacts were unchanging.

    For example: the impact of the economic downturn persists. The economy continued to decline after Obama came into office BECAUSE OF REPUBLICAN OBSTRUCTION, leading to more revenue losses and more automatic government payments through assistance programs.In addition to the stimulus, Obama's health care plan has cut the deficit ever so slightly. The policy changes in his budgets have increased the deficit by a bit as well.You may believe that our national debt is a tragedy, and it may make you feel better to pin that blame for that tragedy on your political opponents. It's always easier to scapegoat some villain in order to make sense of it all and to escape your own paryt's causation.
