Liberals seem to be having a problem with Mitt Romney and his wealth. Were they this upset over the wealth of all the KENNEDYS and how they got their wealth to start with???

The only thing Obama and his group have to rag on Mitt Romney about is the fact he is rich..........Yet they have no problem with all the KENNEDYS and their money, which by the way was made by Joseph Kennedy in bootlegging booze......Hum can we say hypocrite boys and girls.. Gee if he is rich doesnt that make him beholding to no one??? Unlike Obama

shhhhh....maybe they don't know how the Kennedy's got their money....or maybe they don't realize Pelosi is one of the wealthiest person in Congress (insider trading helped that along)....or pssstt... Is that your yacht, Mr John Kerry?

Nixon played on Kennedy's wealth big-time in 1960, and JFK was concerned about the appearance of privilege and wealth as an issue as he planned for his re-election campaign. REPUBLICANS sure had a problem with it -- and so did some of his own party's leadership.

Obama is worth 11.8 million, not exactly a pauper himself, but look at his friends, Nancy Pelosi differing reports but anywhere from 35 to 58 million (she must be one of those "evil" rich people, eh?), and do they have an issue with John Kerry at 194 million?

What is wrong with these people who think success is some sort of character flaw?

If his wealth is REALLY what you think we don't like about him, you aren't paying attention.It isn't THAT he's rich. It's that the part of his wealth that he wasn't born into, he aquired by the very same means that as the bankers who caused the economic collapse which led to the recession. He made his money by cutting jobs, or shipping them overseas. He made it by positioning himself and his company, so that they would make money off of every company they bought, even if the company itself went belly-up. He made himself richer, by making others poor. It isn't his wealth we resent. It's his greed and his lack of integrity.

You sure picked the wrong family to use as an analogy. The Kennedy family has always been an excellent example of philanthropy. John Kennedy had a great rapor with those who had less, and took his responsibility to care for all Americans seriously. You mentioned his father, Joseph, Sr. You should likewise trace the wealth of the Romney family, and in fact, the rest of the GOP members in Congress.

Since nearly everyone tells me Im a Liberal(Im not) let me say this. I have no problem with the AMOUNT of money he has made but the WAY he made it makes me sick. As for the Kennedy's as far as Im concerned the only really good one was John.
