MINDLESS POLITICS ARE FRAYING WOMENS HEALTH-THATS THE HEADLINE IN MY PAPER. So I read the story of a young girl (she stated her name) who got pregnant at 19. She is now 28, never finished college, never got married, never got a good job only low paying ones. She also has another child making her total two. She is hopping mad that Planned Parenthood will no longer pay for her birth control pills!!! (Does she even use them?) Of course she is blaming the Republicans (I wouldnt be suprised if she blamed Bush) for her life struggles. So after this reporter goes on a tirade about our decision to defund Planned Parenthood and how horrible we are for doing it at the end of the article the girs says and I quote "More than likely I will end up pregnant again." WTH??!!! Does this girl not understand that there is birth control that is free and 100% effective??!! ITS CALLED ABSTINENCE!!! Why do people feel that they can make all the bad decisions they want and demand that tax payers pay for their mistakes? Why is it my responsibility to pay for her birthcontrol? Why doesnt she ask her boyfriend to pay if she cant control herself? I understand that its cheaper to pay for the pill for others than to have babies but arent we then enabling this bad behavior to continue at our expense? She has learned its better to sit at home and pop out kids and the grand ol government will provide your every need while you do nothing. I can work two or three jobs but the more I work and make money the more I am taxed. So instead of the money going to my family it goes to the irresponsible ones. I CRY UNFAIR!!!!!!! Also the issue is Texas has defunded Planned Parenthood BUT will allow other agencies to take over. Obama doesnt like that and it is him who is defunding WHP by not giving Texas the federal funding it should because cry baby is mad. The fight is over the government overstepping state rule.What do you think??!!! Should the government constantly step up and pay for all these irresponsible people and their crazy lifestyles?

I shouldn't have to pay for their entertainment any more than they should pay for my crafting, my sailing, my scuba diving or whatever else activity I come up with. There is no difference. If you are not married and having children all other sex is just for pleasure and entertainment.

So why doesn't she carry a condom or two? There's no health risk, they're cheap, and have no side affects. This is pure irresponsibility on her part.

Maybe she has more than one partner. Who is going to pony up? You have to have a prescription for BC pills, but NONE for condoms. Maybe there is something to the "welfare momma" profession.

Condoms don't cost much. But here's the deal, even with the pill, many women "forget" to take them. We cannot take into account the individuals lack of responsibility. If women really want to avoid preganancy, there are many other means. They can pay for them by themselves.

Bingo. People CHOOSE to have sex. That is fine but why the hell is it my responsibility to pay for it for you? I like to base jump, it is safer with a parachute, are you going to volunteer to buy me a parachute. People are doing it anyway. Don't we have a right to be safe? You know people are going to break into houses anyway, shouldn't you just leave your doors wide open for them? I want a gun to protect myself, are you going to buy me one. A Lexus is safer than my car, are you going to buy me one?

Your entire argument is ridiculous. Nobody is trying to take your birth control. Nobody cares of you have sex. We just expect you to be a big girl and not a worthless dependent little girl, and buy your own. The generic version is $9 per month at target. Give up 1 pack of smokes, or two beers, or one trip to fast food. That is not to much to ask for you paying for your own, which any rational human being would accept before arrogantly expecting others to pay for it.

Let's be 100% honest. This entire thing is to distract ignorant leftists and the liberal media from obamas horribly failed policies, that you all can not even defend any more do you resort to this nonsense.

We have centers here who help women first figure out if they are pregnant and if they arent they will help you pay for birth control. Planned Parenthood is not the only place to go for help like Obama would hope you would think.

That is the same in my area. There are four women's centers here and I support them. I go to one that is staffed by wonderful women doctors. I have insurance, so I pay for my health checkups

From what I understand here in the state of Texas government decided to choose a different providers for Womens Health Care Services to aid with birth control and such. Obama is not happy with Texas decsion to do this so he has cut Womens Health Care funding to Texas to force us back to Planned Parenthood.
