Liberals are upset because Santorum wants to ban something (porn) that clearly exploits women as sex objects. These SAME liberals then have the GALL to accuse conservatives of waging a "war on women." Can someone explain this INSANITY to me?

I picked this lousy answer from the three given because the main point is being overlooked. Denying consenting adults the freedom and right to participate in porn and denying other adults the freedom to watch it because it isn't part of YOUR beliefs is the issue. It's the assault on the individual freedoms of the individuals involved that is the crux of it and just plain un-American.

considering porn includes BOTH genders, i dont see how it's exploitation of women alone.

Easy. One is freedom of speech. The other IS an attack on women's rights by people in power.

That was an easy question to answer. Now do you want to know why you get wet when you go out in the rain?

    None of the Above.

Santorum has voted for an abortion bill, voted against Pennsylvania being a right to work state and isn't even a Fiscal Conservative. My question is, why do Conservatives keep supporting a lie?

In addition, you can't legislate morality; or the free market/capitalism. Those that do, as we see with our government being run as an Oligarchy destroys our country economically and takes away free well.

    First, they went after illegals
and I didn't say anything because they're taking our jobs

Then they went after the gays
and I didn't say anything because I hate gays and their immoral lifestyles

    Then they went after women
and I didin't say anything because I hate loose women having sex
    whenever they want

    Then they went after porn
but there was no one left to speak out for me.

    Sound familiar?

So you're for the exploitation of women. Got it. How many of those 'actresses' would do that 'work' if they could earn the same money doing ANYTHING else?

Porn doesn't exploit women- they work in it freely. Just as men do.

Santorum is waging a war against women and thier rights to sexual freedom. If you were really against the exploitation of women, then you should be standing against him and backing women.

I won't have anything to do with Santorum. He's just as much a Globalist as Newt and Mitt. There are a LOT of American rights being trodden on these days. It's a shame people only care about their own pet hobbyhorses.

So, you expect me and other women to just "take this on the chin, like a man"??? That's not going to happen. And Santorum/Romney/Newt and those who side with thier way of thinking will find this out the hard way.

Pornography causes profound brain changes in both children and adults, resulting in widespread negative consequences. Addiction to pornography is now common for adults and even for some children. The average age of first exposure to hard-core, Internet pornography is now 11. Pornography is toxic to marriages and relationships. It contributes to misogyny and violence against women. It is a contributing factor to prostitution and sex trafficking. If you think those are good things, fine. I don't like govt forcing people to do or not do anything, but we are ALREADY being pushed by liberals in media and govt. How about getting some kind of balance?

Where's your proof? You haven't any- what you wrote is verbatim of the crap that Santorum has stated, after he has brought the war on women's sexual freedom.

Republican presidential candidate Rick Santorum says that “America is suffering a pandemic of harm from pornography” because the Obama administration favors “pornographers over children.”

In an undated statement on his official website, the former Pennsylvania senator promises that he will “vigorously” fight to make sure porn isn’t easily available in the U.S.

“Pornography is toxic to marriages and relationships,” the statement says. “It contributes to misogyny and violence against women. It is a contributing factor to prostitution and sex trafficking.

Reagan brought the War on Drugs. George W. Bush, the War on Terror. And now Rick Santorum introduces the War on Porn, trying to claim that porn hurts women. Just what does he think he's doing by wanting to ban contraception and women's rights?

But Santorum's idea of extending health insurance to 30 million people = socialist tyranny.

In other words, Santorum and all who think like him are a crock.

I just read your so called "proof". This is what I found:

the first one talks of addiction, not on porn
the second talks about how porn has revenues larger than Microsoft, Google, EBay, Apple ans Netflix combined
the third says the impact of porn on marriage is unknown
the fourth says that the effects of erotica or porn on antisocial behavior is nonharmful.

Like I said, Santorum and your thinking is a crock.

That's pseudoscience... you have to be completely retarded to believe that pornography has any negative effect on anyone... billions have watched porn without any effects whatsoever.. actually the situation is the other way around....
The belief that porn is harmful is mainly shared by stupid, uneducated and savage people in Africa, the Middle East and the religious extremists in other parts of the world... ironically, that's where most sexual exploitation and complete lack of respect for women is the norm!
You should worry about yourself, because your ideas are in line with the ideas of the aforementioned savage idiots!

You're down to name calling already? Pseudoscience? Retarded? Stupid? Uneducated? Extremist? Exploitation? Savage? You must really be worried for the Liberal Agenda to be pushing that hard. History and science are both on my side here. Your fearmongering is just a desperate tactic borrowed from the liberal playbook. Hell, even Ted Bundy admitted porn played a large part in pushing him into his killing spree. Here's some more 'pseudoscience'. lol

I don't see how pornography exploits women at all. Such a conclusion could only have been reached via a conservative rationale, I think, which sees women as too weak, frail and mentally vulnerable to decide sexual matters for themselves. The desire to ban pornography then – quite contrary to this question's premise – is but an extension of this same tired presumption that women are incapable of making decisions about what they do with their own bodies, and thus that conservatives have to make these decisions *for* them, 'for their own good'.

As with most conservatives, Santorum seems to be just another politician willing to completely ignore the Constitution whenever it serves his purposes. He isn't concerned about the women who voluntarily choose to participate in the adult film industry, but merely on distracting from his failed ideas. And you have to love how the Right Wing has once again tried to write a phony story about how liberals are "pro pornography". They aren't. They're pro-Constitution.

I personally know quite a few porn stars and have been in a porn myself and I can assure that while some might exploit people most do not. (most of the time) No one is forcing woman in to porn and the star I know do it because it is fun and good money.

Wow, these answer choices aren't biased in any way.

So you're saying women shouldn't be allowed to be in a pornographic film if they so choose? While I may not be a frequent viewer myself, I find the idea of banning porn absolutely ridiculous. I think we all know the REAL reason Santorum is against porn, and it's for the same reason he's against birth control

The hypocrisy is that republicans cant shut their mouth about government intrusion in their life and freedoms being taken away. Once they are in office they do exactly that, intrude and take our freedoms away.

Stay the F out of people business, you try to cover up your intrusion and taking freedoms by pointing the finger and trying to turn the tables with hypocrisy, anyone can see right through you guys.

WAAA get government out of our lives... so the Church can take over and intrude instead... hypocrites.
