Cut the bs and tell us straight up how raising taxes fixes the economy. tell us how spending more money and borrowing cuts the deficit. How'd that work out for the last 3 1/2 years?? you proved up my blog is true.
I never said raising taxes fixes the economy, but I can tell you how spending money fixes the economy. Spending money increases demand. Increased demand requires increased supply. That in a nutshell is growth. In times of economic hardships, as has been proven again and again, governments should spend money, even in deficit, to rebuild the economy. To do the opposite is detrimental. To taxes, when an economy begins growing taxes need to be increased to pay off the accumulated debt. A country shouldn't go to war and cut taxes. A country shouldn't embark on massive spending campaigns in times of growth unless it has the ability to pay for them. That is our deficit problem. Our last president took us to war and cut taxes. That is asinine, as is anyone who really thinks their taxes have increased these last three years or think we need to pay less taxes.

The government spending money doesn't increase demand, it reduces it by taking people's disposable income away to fritter away on inefficient government projects and corporate welfare.
Drill baby drill. Keep the cash in the US, balance the budget and add millions of jobs.
More of the lefts pretzel logic.
