In advance of Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney's speech Wednesday to the NAACP, a liberal group headed by a former New York Times reporter and ex-Media Matter executive have produced a video satire that claims blacks don't like Romney, who they dub so white he makes Wonder Bread look like pumpernickel.

The 'double-standard defense' is besides the point.
The point is that the video was meant to sound ridiculous rather than attack anyone. All liberals are not liable for whoever is offended by a video that was meant to be funny.

William, I am not racist. I am a Christian and try to apply the golden rule to everyone.
I posted in humor, but the sad thing is that I've actually met people, co-workers, etc.. who told me they will vote for Obama because he's black.
That seems pretty racist to me.

Thanks Brooke. Some may not 'get it' but Romney and Obama are much more similar than they are different. The only difference is Romney became wealthy before getting elected and Obama became wealthy during/after his election.

Romney's negatives have nothing to do with race. The guy will be a disaster for anyone who is not as filthy rich as he is. He does not even hide his contempt for the poor (no matter what color they happen to be). My guess is, rich Blacks probably don't mind Romney at all.

Interesting fact, that John Kerry's and Mitt Romney's fortunes are almost exactly the same size. Where was the screaming about how "filthy rich" Kerry was? And don't even bring up Kerry's contempt for anyone not on his "social level."
