That's my point no matter which party is in charge or what ideology they claim the corporations and banks run this country If the GOP was genuine about "free Markets" there would be no bailout and If the Dems truly stood with the people they would have bailed out the home owners not the banks and in most socialist sytems the banks would be nationalized

Universal health care works and if it were allowed to flourish without the presence of a trade embargo and/or any other type of foreign sanctions, Cuba's health care system would be so much more better. Thank God the USA is the only country in the world that is still stupid enough to enforce this outdated trade embargo.
If you look at #2, it's really kind of a religion in a way. In a Communist country, people basically worship their government exclusively, or are supposed to, no matter how brutal they treat their people. They're children living in an abusive home with very few freedoms that otherwise provides everything they need. It's a failing system and there are only five known Communist nations worldwide today and they will fall on their own. Most Americans, liberal or conservative, would want the US to be Communist anymore than most would want us would want to become a theocracy.
Worth noting that Communism and Socialism are two different political systems and most of Europe, Australia, Canada and other free, peaceful nations have some degree of Socialism mixed with Capitalism and they are doing fine economically. In the US, things really have not changed when Obama took office. Things were already in a downward grade when Bush left the White House and it's difficult to no end to improve things when your opponents has the power to say ‘no’ to everything suggested, even if it might actually work to some degree based on simple distrust.
