Let the First Amendment/Freedom of Press Ring? How can this happen? A big slap in the most abject way coming soon, folks~Blame it on the "Non-Traditional News Agencies"
Have you heard the latest? The DOL is putting an end to reporters using their own computers/laptops/internet (which they have been using for years in the White House) and to decimate the out-putting of information to US, the People of the United States of America or anyone, thereof; by justifying those actions because "they say" there were "2" cases of "leaks" which (supposedly) involved fraud in the jobless numbers in the past. Where is the evidence? Why have they not provided this? They are quite mum.
They did say that "they would not be providing internet access." Yeah, right! Take all control of computers and web browsers, but yet, to exacerbate this inane policy and then on the same face to try and appease those that report doesn't make any sense.
The DOL said, that they will "tear" out the existing reporting news agencies' computers/wiring/installations and then install government same in order to prevent "leaks." Now, the leaks that supposedly were referenced have not been substantiated by the Department of Labor. Incidentally, who the heck do "they" think they are to do this and trounce on the First Amendment? Freedom of the Press? Come on!
Lastly, the DOL has also stated that they have 20-30 "exclusive" slots of "new" government computers to be used specifically by news agencies and that the DOL will have the sole right to pick/dole out those slots to certain news agencies. How does that grab ya, eh? Yikes.
What say you in re: of this? As always, feel free to leave a comment. Thank you.
Oh, I know there will be naysayers...pffftttttt~
By the way, this report was seen on Fox on 4/16/12, I have tried to locate same and cannot, if anyone can or has seen this, please let me know. Thanks~
Wow...I wish I could say this surprises me but it doesn't .....I guess my reaction is why has it taken them so long. hmmmmmmm....maybe because some of the devoted are questioning the great "o".
Yes you will hear from the devoted who are so stupefied that they will cry that is false...a lie. Well, they will fall in this system called communism if it is allowed to continue...the poor sheeple.
Nice little scam. By only having 20-30 "exclusive" slots, the DOL can limit reporters to those it deems friendly to the administration. Even if it allows additional reporters, they won't have access to any computers, so their stories will come out later, conflicting with the earlier "friendly" reports and undermining their credibility. This argument about "leaks" is ridiculous. I can appreciate that the DOL does not want their figures to be published by different news agencies in stages, as this presents certain readers with opportunities to perform insider trading. But the point is that once the DOL makes its figures available to the press, they all get it at the same time, and have an equal opportunity to publish quickly, as long as the playing field is fair (i.e., each reporter can use his or her computer and phone). If anything, the new rules INCREASE the likelihood of insider trading, because only a small, handpicked collection of reporters are able to use the government supplied computers. This "elite group" will get to publish first, and others will have to publish later (either via manual data collection and transmission, or syndicating content from the first group). My opinion is that the "leak" issue is a diversion to hide the DOL's real intent - make sure "g...

Precisely, Stu! Not for nothing, if those 2 "leaks" were true, it would be so easy for "them" to find out who the culprits are, and to take away all privileges, thereof. I applaud you. Excellent post.
TY Chi-Cat. Another point to consider: if the leak issue was really behind all this, how come the DOL is the only agency doing this? I.e., if this was the real issue, some kind of new protocol would apply to press coverage of all major Executive agencies, not just one. This is obviously a single-department level scam.
Exactly what I was thinking! Why not the DOJ? Or, another agency. What? Too freakin' obvious, that's why. This is a well-doctored spin to have those think just a one departmental scam. Not true. Don't believe that for a second. Nothing gets done in this admin without their crafty spin doctors (1. Bill Daley and 2. Rahmbo just rehired two months ago, that's what they do best) and the clear agenda they have perpetrated upon Us. Nothing. I don't believe it for a second. Call me jaded, yet, we sat back and watched a nation of fools elect this 'stard, and all said, "they'll blame us when chit goes to hell." Just saying. You know I am on your side.
Because all the other "agencies" have failed so much and under scrutiny and ongoing investigations. To them, the DOL was their own logical choice. ugh.
Yeah, that really could be true. There's so much controversy surrounding the DOJ, ATF, HHS, EPA, and some other agencies that if they did what the DOL is doing, there could be a public backlash that hurts Obama's campaign.
I went to say TY, and great points, Stu, then my buffering got loopy, so I deleted to repost, forgot to, but you have it above! Good! That's what I meant:
What we're witnessing, (and rightfully rebelling against), is Communist control. The editing out, 'purging', social-engineering OF, the established U.S. Constitution, as it was institued over 200 years ago by George and his posse, our forefathers.
We are in observance of, (much to our chagrin), the morphing and mergence from socialism to Communism (complete government control)....
Precisely, for I have been screaming when the wall came down, I looked at my mates and said "they have gotten theirs, now we will lose ours." WE will fight the good fight. For, I do not fear. Been there. I will fight.
it will come back to bite them in the azz . . . With US standing up fighting for them because their brains will be dazed . . . " How could this happen"
I shake my head in amazement sometimes for their pure ignorance !!
Black Helicopters and Heavily Armed Soldiers Conduct Drills In Downtown Chicago As Preparation for NATO Summit Confrontations Continue
In a shocking display of the police state and the creeping push towards actual martial law, heavily armed military officers in black helicopters swooped through downtown Chicago in what was billed as a routine military exercise.
Up to three Blackhawk Helicopters flew in formation and separately around downtown office buildings and apartments for at least three hours.
A report by the local Chicago Fox affiliate was surprisingly unconvinced by the military's claims that these exercises had nothing to do with the upcoming NATO Summit
I know, I hear them all the time! Thank you! They are right above me at certain times of the day, too...those are Apaches. Everyday, like clockwork the Marines fly by. When I go to the track they always wave and then a different formation. Thanks, 56. We know all too well.
Quite prevalant here, 56. Since last year I have noticed the timings have changed. ; ( I'm trying to get out. Just wish I weren't so under the weather.
Are you feeling better? You have had that for a long time, too! Mine just hits me and bam! I am glad I don't have to keep up with kids anymore! I am afraid, we all have been so right about what is happening. You take care of yourself! I command you!
THANK YOU!!!!! ; )
