Reminds me of how Markey & Waxman added 309 pages at 2AM, to the already 1,500 page Cap & Tax bill and presented it on the floor of the House of Reps. on the same day they were supposed to vote on it.
There wasn't ONE assembled copy anywhere to be found (violating House rules) as clerks feverishly tried to insert the added pages into the bill as they applied.
Waxman went ballistic as Boehner started going through the added pages one by one, which is also required by House rules. (remember the speed readers with 0bozocare?)
The whole thing was a circus that aired LIVE on C-SPAN, but few noticed because America was glued to the images of Michael Jackson's corpse being paraded around California.
They wound up taking a vote later that day with the bill barely passing by a few votes which was a familiar scene throughout 2009 and 2010 when Congress was controlled by Pelosi & Reid.
Fortunately, HR2454 died on the steps of the Senate and hasn't been resurrected since, although 0bozo has implemented parts of it via EPA directives and Executive Orders.
Let My People Go!’: Illinois State Rep. Goes Absolutely Ballistic During Screaming Speech Over Pension Vote

This might be the craziest political speech you’ve seen. This is Illinois State Rep. Mike Bost absolutely losing it during a floor speech . . And while he does go ballistic — throwing papers, screaming, and flailing his arms — he does have a good reason: earlier in the day a committee voted on a pension reform bill that then put it up for a vote for the entire House; but Bost was furious since the hundred-plus-page bill wouldn’t be properly vetted

Total power in one person’s hands – not the American way!” Bost began.

Total power in one person’s hands – not the American way!” Bost began.
“These damn bills that come out here all the damn time, come out here at the last second!” Bost added as he threw papers. “I’ve got to figure out how to vote for my people!”
“You should be ashamed of yourselves! I’m sick of it!” he went on. “Every year! We give power to one person! It was not made that way in the Constitution! He was around when it was written! Now we give him – we’ve passed rules that stop each one of us! Enough! I feel like somebody trying to be released from Egypt! Let my people go!”
PROFOUND!!!!!!!

Did anyone catch the TX & TN state government video running around voting for all the absent people. Totally disgusting, they weren't there but got counted and paid because someone else voted present and voted in their place. Dem's for Rep., Rep's for Dem. you know their constituents were well represented. Sadly happens all the time and they make excuses for their foolishness.

House Speaker Mike Madigan had only introduced the bill that same morning. It passed on a six to three vote and moved to the House floor for discussion within a couple of hours.
The bill is hundreds of pages long, and Bost says lawmakers should not be voting on a proposal without first reading it.
