Well everyone I talk to says he is doing what he can considering what he was handed over 3 years ago and I tend to agree with them. The you have the Republicans fighting him every step of the way on everything even thing they supported under bush now they are totally against. Funny how that works and who get the screwed every time? The American people. Well I am voting for him again.

We will now be treated to the rightwingnut spin on polls, how they are all communist lies, etc, etc, etc,. The elitist press made the whole thing up, mainstream media is biased and so on and so forth. So let it be written, so let it be done.

Cherry picking polls is always fun. Rasmussen has him at 46% approve , 52% disapprove and they sample likely voters, those who are actually registered, have voted in the most recent election and not just being 18+ as the only qualifier.
The most telling is their Strongly approve / Disapprove category

    http://www.rasmussenreports.c...
    dos

But, for an average, let's look at Real Clear Politics and even with the out of whack Pew Research poll at +9% tossed in, it's a dead heat at 47% approve and 46.8% disapprove.

Even CBS/NYT has him at -6% and ABC/Wash Post has him at -4%

You need to learn the difference between a general poll and a 'strongly' poll. An issue or person can have 100% general approval but only 1% strong approval. All a 'strongly' poll shows is the percentage of people who are most unlikely to change their opinion.

Reading deficiency,, .... comprehension, or a combo platter of both?
I listed the raw number in the first line, genius and made a clear distinction between the two as well as the method Gallup uses of 'adults' vs 'likely voters'.

Fact is, you cherry picked ONE sample and perhaps the RCP average escaped you? Pretty sad that his stalwarts of CBS/NYT & ABC/WP have him at -6% and -4% respectively, which happen to be the same results Rasmussen came up with.

The point is The Republican Party (which really doesn't exist anymore anyway) is going to lose in November and lose miserably.

Yeah,... that's what Nance said right up until she lost her croquet mallet.

32 Senate seats on the chopping block 23 are Dem and half of those are on thin ice. Oh yeah,... this will be a repeat of 2010 with control of both chambers and the WH. I couldn't care less what the 'party' is called,.... but progressives are history after 2013.

I have no idea where the Pollsters are getting the Information...BUT.....I see the public every single day, and nobody is happy with the Criminal in-Chief. I have heard more statements concerning public dissatisfaction, and opinions of wonderment as to why His Godship has been allowed to continue when, if the evidence is correct, then he should have been Impeached two years ago. However, you have to remember that Cruella de Pelosi was in Charge then and by her own statements, "We won't know what is in the Bill until it is passed.!"..... should have sent shivers up and down the News Media's Spines, but we heard nothing from them. All of them (news-commentators), and every elected Representative are in the Tank for Change...and that is what has been happening...Change.....that we never voted for.

Well, yeah, according to your profile, you're a white, male, pro-gun Texan. In typical social circles you're in, I imagine a standard greeting would routinely include "death to Obama."

In my circles, people are proud of what Obama is trying to accomplish. The fact that there's even a chance that one of the GOP turkeys could be elected is unfathomable.

I was only noting that you're in conservative Texas, not slamming Texas. No need to slam Maryland.

Your state has a significantly higher rate of food stamp participation than mine, so I'm not sure where you get the "entitlement laden" criticism of my state.

As for Obama's chances, Intrade.com is giving him a 60 percent chance of re-election. If you're so certain he's going to lose, you can make some money there.

Alluding to your remark about 'social circles'. Sure you wanna go there?
I've been to MD. 4 times in the past three years and traveled all over the state.
You should feel lucky that you're not a border state and have the anchor baby Capital of the U.S aka Parkland Memorial Hospital. Not much better in Houston or Austin and anything near Brownsville & El Paso,.... well, you may as well be living in Mexico.

0bie is going to be doing well just to make it to the Convention. Mark my words, he will never give an acceptance speech. More likely a resignation speech LIVE from Indonesia where I'm sure he'll have all kinds of excuses and calling out a RW conspiracy because he was humiliated into exile.

You jokers are always screaming about him being a God. Yet you are the one fixated on this term, and whatever you think that means. And how he should be impeached, for what? Big talk, no proof and if that's true. Bush and Cheney needed to be up on war crimes, a hell of a lot longer than Obama stepping into office. You are just pissed because of the losers your party has come up with. Obama will be re-elected, and you don't have to like it. We had to do
it with "W". Talk about an embarrassment!
  • phantom... painted... 2012/03/25 15:42:30 (edited)
    phantom8541
Awww Hell no,.... we don't want him impeached. We want him tried, convicted, stripped of the title and his sorry ass sent to Leavenworth alongside the Wookie and every single one who was involved in the cover-up.

Of course, that means they will probably have to add a HUGE wing just to hold them all.
