1 year ago I worked for a 100 million a year business with 55 employees, this year I am laid off along with 10 other people who worked there and returning to my own small business with 2 employees, myself and my spouse....We can make it because our bills are very lean...We knew Obama would do this to the nation and paid off everything except our home...Now we can make it on 1800.00 a month...We got what money we have left out of banks and protected....we planned for this disaster..but it still doesn't mean it doesn't hurt like hell to have to tell your kids, we are cutting back this christmas...

Our entire extended family has decided that we will skip presents this year, have a huge family meal at my place with all the families and get back to being a family and not spending...sucks but it is reality
