A couple of loudmouths talking to other adults who mostly aren't in the video, so you can't really follow who's saying what. They're not heckling the kids. Delores Vann says (finally!) that she thinks the song was inappropriate for the kids' age group, and she wants to know why they weren't taught appropriate songs. What's wrong with that? I never heard of this song, and we've got lots of great patriotic songs the kids could have learned, so I'm not sure yet what the big deal is here.

I totally agree that the principal was out of line to cancel the song from the ceremony because she didn't want to offend people (how you can offend AMERICANS by singing a patriotic song?), and I think it's great that the kids sang it anyway. But I'm not understanding what the issues are from this video -- the background noise totally takes over the voices most of the time. And I DON'T see any heckling.

I didn't see any adults heckling children. I saw adults confronting an adult politician. How this adult politician gained access to these kindergarten children is a fascinating question.

It is wonderful that you respect a politician...I don't. In this video, I I see "suits" guiding a children's performance. These "suits" are not parents. Having spent most of my life as a "suit", I know the job and the role. The men (and they were all men) are being paid (probably much more than $1/minute) to achieve a specific objective. These suits understand their life style depends on delivering the expected result.

I respect his 'nads to stand up to a bunch of a-holes. And not all "suits" are like you..... easily bought and paid for.
