Who is Kerry Ladka? He's the voter who asked the question about the Benghazi Attack, the one that led Candy Crowley to reveal her bias and her collusion with the man now holding office as President, Barack H. Obama.

When he appeared on Greta Van Susteren's show last night, he said why he was "undecided": he wants Obama-style social programs, but worries that Obama is not a good-enough executive to make them possible, much less sustainable. Or to keep the country safe in the meantime.

The author of the linked article has a solution. If the economy tanks, the social programs tank with it. Margaret Thatcher (pictured) said it best: under socialism, you run out of other people's money.

So: if you want so much to take care of the poor, make sure they have a comfortable-enough economy to live in. To do that, we must fire Barack Obama.

You cannot serve anyone's good by sacrificing productive capacity. Which is what "Obamanomics" does. And when you violate the rights of one, you violate the rights of all.

More to the point: how has four years of Obamanomics worked out for you? Eh? The obvious answer: not well.

Myself I am a FDR type democrat. I think that people need to work. As a social worker I also feel that there are some people who can't care for themselves. I do not see social sercurity as an entitlement but as something that people have paid for all their working lifes. I think ADC and food stamps were put in place for a good reason and are a safety net the same with unemployment. I think that Obama doesn't listen to others with more knowledge. I fear a Romney Ryan administration. I think they are pretty cold hearted. I don't know what I am going to do this election. I thought about going green but then realized if the president was shot I would rather have Biden. I didn't vote for Obama the last time because I feared that he did not have the experience to clean up the mess we were in. I just want to scream screaming

I live on a fixed income, yet my state taxes are going up 60% in the next cycle. Licensing fees, registrations, property taxes , fuel taxes utilities and on and on and on... up and up they go.

Sure he will! His first legislation will open the pipeline through the mid states which will give over 100,000 jobs. He will open up drilling which will add another potential million. With all this the price of gas will immediately give a relief to the poor and middle class who will have more money to spend. Gas will go down and so will the cost of food and clothing. People will be able to travel easier.Jobs will increase immediately because people will be buying more. He will de-regulate coal which will again add another 100K jobs. Man the ripple goes on and on! What is Obama going to do --watch gas prices continue to increase which hurts the poor and middle class, he will try to pass Cap and Trade again which will double the cost of energy which hurts the poor and middle class. Where does Obama lower anything for anyone? What is his plan. Oh Obama care which promises a penalty if you don't BUY health insurance of 2,500 per family.

Americans do not want vast social welfare programs, we want personal responsibility which means we need good jobs and a smaller tax burden.

Bingo! Unless the economy grows, social programs of all types will be underfunded, overburdened, and eventually bankrupt. Taxing the rich at 100% will not close the gap.

Without spending even $1 more, the current debt is a huge problem. There is simply not enough money to be raised by taxes (of ANY kind, paid by ANY group) to put a dent in the problem.

Growing the economy can make the debt a smaller percentage of GDP, and therefore tolerable as long as we slow down the rate of spending increases. Of course, a growing economy puts less of a strain on programs like food stamps, so there is a secondary bonus effect for economic growth. Or in Obama's case, a secondary penalty effect for a stagnant economy.

Unfortunately, Obama is so fixated on taxing the rich, he has no concept of how to change government policy to promote economic growth. For example: Driving up the cost of traditional energy to promote green energy is a popular concept with Obama's base. But it's lousy for an economy that suffers from high energy prices. He can't create enough green jobs to offset the loss of other jobs.

Some of the social programs (like Social Security and Medicare) are funded by dedicated taxes. The people who pay the taxes expect the benefits (even if their contributions are insufficient to cover the cost). After generations of creating obligations in excess of revenue, somebody has to unwind the largest Ponzi scheme in the history of money.

There will always be people who can't provide for themselves, so there will always be social programs to address those needs. Although social programs will never be abolished, we have some control over is the supply and demand for those services.

If we can make the economy grow, there will be fewer people depending on government services, and more taxpayers to dilute the cost. But if Obama wins a second term, we get the opposite: a stagnant economy with accelerating poverty; runaway costs to be covered by a diminishing pool of taxpayers.

The first step is to grow the economy to the point where people can drop their dependency on government. At the moment, we have millions of long-term unemployed people who will be collecting government checks until they can get jobs. A fair percentage of people would voluntarily abandon government assistance -- if only they could.

Once the employment situation improves, it's time to make bipartisan deals with Congress in such a way that maintaining social programs requires the sacrifice of pork barrel projects and wasteful spending.

Reducing pork is never popular in Congress because this is how they get campaign contributions. To replace the loss of lobbyist money, I would offer deficit reduction bonuses to each member of Congress -- if they achieve a series of budget milestones. If we don't shut down the corrupt Washington money machine, the problem can never b solved.

Our economy is where it is at because that is where Democrats and Republicans intentionally put it. With their help, every government backed insurance program that was designed to help the middle class and stabilize the economy has been burned to the ground by multinational banks and corporations. Destroying the housing market and sending our jobs overseas has destroyed the property and income tax bases of every level of government. All of this was done while spending $2 billion per day on capricious, unwinnable wars that benefit nobody but oil companies, bankers and death merchants.

Calls to congressmen regarding NAFTA, TARP, and the bailouts came in at over 100-1 against passage but they were all voted in. Other than being the recipient of a massive bribe, I can think of no reason why.

Romney already has his secret foreign bank accounts. Do you honestly think that he is going to change the status quo ?

The situation won't improve overnight, but 0v0mit must be removed from office for a start. A non-vote or a vote for a third-party stooge will serve only to keep this embarrassment in office.

I would like to believe that finally, after about 5 decades, somebody is going to actually try to make things better, but the symptoms are not there. Romney has already expressed a desire for more globalism, more Mideast involvement more bank deregulation, and more Reaganomics. These policies have not served us at all. The additional oil exploitation that he is calling for will all be shipped through the Keystone pipeline where it can easily be loaded upon a supertanker and we will have to bid against the rest of the world for it.

Federal, state, county, and city governments, due to lack of funds are going to be forced to privatize many of their properties and services, meaning that prices will go up for the middle class and salaries will go down. This will further destroy their income tax bases. The federal government will continue to bully the U.S. Post Office into bankruptcy and eventual privatization, meaning services and salaries will go down there also.

The treasonous theft and malfeasance will go on and the debt will continue to climb.

Matt, I must respectfully disagree. We've been told that Reagonomics doesn't work. This is simply not true. If Reagonomics had been allowed to work by Congress, it would have provided miracles. Nevertheless, it worked fairly well even in spite of Congress which, seeing all that extra revenue pouring in, decided to spend it! As far as privatization of services, the market will determine whether or not we ever needed them in the first place. Competition will drive prices down. People will keep more of their own money. Lowering taxes = more disposable income = more money spend = increased tax revenues. With sound business practices in place, we'll lower and eventually eliminate the deficit and even pay off the national debt. Leave 0v0mit in office this election and the United States of America will cease to exist ~ that is, after all, his ultimate goal.

Do you remember when Reagan said "We are moving away from a manufacturing economy to a service sector economy?" Subsequent administrations insured that with job killing "free trade" agreements. Reagan's hockey stick in our national debt went to the military buildup for the Iraq and Afghanistan wars that were already being planned.
    reaganomics fail

What make you think that the government is going to magically quit spending ? Republicans and Democrats have been in a headlong race to see who could ship the most money overseas. Every level of government has been ignoring infrastructure for decades. There are hundreds of dams and bridges in this country that are in danger of catastrophic failure while we have been spending $2 billion per day upon the capricious wars that Romney wants to continue.

Obama is a friend of Islam much like he is a friend of labor unions. He gives them kind words while he continues to kill them. Of the trillions of dollars that he has raised our debt, compare the amount that was "redistributed" upwardly or out of the country to the amount that went to the middle and lower classes.

We will never have a solution until we have a viable third party candidate with some support in congress. Even the TEA party espouses more cuts to social programs and more corporate deregulation.

There is no immediate solution. We have been caught in a bipartisan crossfire of corruption ever since Kennedy was murdered. In that 50 years, the slave culture of government check recipients has risen to 47%. They are not going to rock the boat until their checks quit coming, or they have been devalued to the point of worthlessness. The best thing we can do for now is to lobby against the impending war on Iran. That will soar our debt to $20 billion !
