Science states that the supernatural is outside of the realm of science and therefore can not be tested using the scientific method! The glaring revelation that science makes, is that another source is needed for testing and observing the supernatural. To say that a belief in the supernatural is delusional, not only goes against the consensus held by science (scientists), it discredits the very source looked to for accreditation!
Think about it. Each of us live as though love and hate, courage and cowardice, honesty and lies, pride and humility, all mean something very profound. But if these feelings and virtues are merely evolutionary mechanisms developed out of necessity to further the survival of soulless creatures in a godless universe, then they have no more meaning than our eyelids or fingernails; they’re just things that aid the survival of other things, and the joke is on us for believing them to be more profound.

Thus meaning itself is dependent on God. If you remove Him from the picture, then humanity is reduced to a series of specks in the cosmos that drift into and out of existence, laboring under the delusion that they have some real purpose or value.
In that context, it is difficult to understand why atheists care to argue about any of this. According to them, our thoughts and feelings are not attached to souls, but mere matter. We are no more meaningful than rocks; we only think we are. Yet, in the ultimate contradiction, atheists who hold these beliefs continue to live with purpose, even if their purpose is only to convince everyone else that there is no purpose. It is ultimately perplexing.
You are a body walking around, 95% of you is water, and when you are dead the water will soak into the earth and you will become a few pounds of dust and bones, nothing more. Were you a monkey or a fish, your fate would be the same - death, rot, evaporate, leave a spot in the earth, nothing more. That is your physical self. What you leave behind as progentry, art, music, literature, contributions to science or other meaningful subjects, that is your soul, your "life after death". That is all one needs, a purpose for which to live, to contribute and gain pride. All the hokey of religions is just a means of superstitions providing a fairly easy life to those who can spin the delusions in an interesting manner and persuade the listeners to pay something for the experience.
For some, the experience is worthwhile and makes a suitable guide for their actions. Without it, some would be meandering and lost. For others, the experience becomes

For some, the experience is worthwhile and makes a suitable guide for their actions. Without it, some would be meandering and lost. For others, the experience becomes
a crusade, an obsession to convince others of the necessity to join in the delusions and surrender the mind to the "spinner" and the ancient story books. Those are the dangerous ones, the ones to be avoided and restrained before they do harm by destroying the creativity I described above.
"The next to last sentence of your comment sums up the absurdity of all that you posted above."
Are you not doing this? You have an " obsession to convince others of the necessity to join in the delusions and surrender the mind to the "spinner" and the ancient story books." This is also very concerning. It seems you have forgotten what you deny believing in! How do you account for these obsessions, delusions or motivations you describe "the dangerous ones" possessing? Furthermore the delusion represented here is yours. You seem to believe you KNOW that these people are delusional. This idea of yours is in fact a delusion! You can not rationally, reasonably or intellectually make claims that do not follow logic! As for doing harm...I'm confident that is your doing and you will answer for it.
Atheists will be judged like all those without the law and without Christ are judged. They will be considered a law unto themselves and their judgment will be based not on any biblical laws but on their own conscience, with their own words excusing them or accusing them. (this is explicitly stated in Romans Chapter 2) If they were intellectually honest and listened to their own conscience their words will excuse them and the wil...

(this is explicitly stated in Romans Chapter 2) If they were intellectually honest and listened to their own conscience their words will excuse them and the will not be condemned. If on the other hand they were intellectually dishonest and ignored their conscience their own words will accuse them and they will face condemnation, but because their condemnation is based on their own words against their own conscience they themselves will agree that the judgment was just. What atheist could ask for more?
And I understand, I simply go off the opinions of the buddhists that I do know (these do not consider it a religion because they believe that they do not wait for the Buddha...they Become the Buddha)
But we all know...most ways of life DO end up becoming religions, Christianity being one of them -_-
This is the opposite of a Christian religion! Simply put, it is a cult!
I know they are a cult, I just used what they claimed to be just to avoid MORE trolls.
I meant pagans actually built the catholic church.
Don't know why people call catholics, christians. The many denominations were formed because Cathocism contradicted the Bible.
However, all claimed atheists are in reality agnostic! Atheism stands on a platform of ignorance and outside of logic! Atheists cannot logically state that there is no God because you cannot know all things so as to determine that there is no God.
