Just one reason of many not to vote for Obama! I found this on a web site today and boy is it the truth...

Firekitty says there is love in the air! Take it in and enjoy it October 06, 2008 20:17:41

Obama doesn't want your children killed on the battlefield...
He'd rather you took care of that before they were born..
I just said I found this on a site.I never said it came from his mouth. Makes you angry doesn't it? When something is stated that isn't true about the one you want for President. Case and Point!

Football or basketball fans choose a team; and no matter what their team does, they remain loyal to them. Many Obama fans react this way. But, tragically, this election is not a "game." It's life-threatening to an entire nation!

Obama's past record of accomplishments is nil, and his past friends and associates are anti-Americans. Just one of these is reason enough not to vote for him. It's sad that so many believe his promise-them-everything rhetoric, without considering the reality of the impossibility of his delivering what he's promised, by the way, with our hard-earned tax money.

He has mesmerized his misguided fans with a couple of impressive speeches and with claims that he has good judgment because he voted against the invasion of Iraq. Yet, the speeches probably were written by someone else; and if he truly had good judgment, he would never have associated himself with so many anti-Americans.

He has not made mention of anything he's accomplished other than voting against the invasion of Iraq. The little that has been discovered about his past reads like a weakened plot of a suspense novel. A huge question mark, like Obama, should give those leaning towards Obama reason enough to cast their votes against him.

I also find the infatuation with Obama bizarre. He has no record of achievement whatsoever. JFK didn't either but at the very leastJFK had distinguished millitary service. A good talker does not brainwash me. I've seen those smooth talkers all my life and have always seen right through them. Some were equal to their talk. Others were lost since they had nothing going for them but their charisma. That's Obama.

Actually, neither of them are related to bin Laden. The Bush family, however, are long-time family friends with the bin Laden family. Why do you suppose every time the coalition forces had bin Laden dead to rights, he managed to escape. Also, every 9/11 conspirator except one was Saudi. None were Iraqi. Bush is close friends with the Saudi royal family. Hmmm...

I didn't suggest anything of the kind. I was responding to "they're brothers in religion." I was pointing out that far from being "brothers in religion", Bush was actually closer to bin Laden than Obama ever was.

Strange how this isn't talked about very much lately! Somebody must be trying to keep it quiet.

George Bush has been in office for 7 1/2 years. The first six years the economy was fine. A little over a year and a half ago:

    1) Consumer confidence stood at a 2 1/2 year high!

    2) Regular gasoline sold for ** $2.19 ** a gallon!

    3) The unemployment rate was 4.5%!

    4) The DOW JONES hit a record high--14,000+

    5) American's were buying new c ars, taking cruises, vacations overseas, living large!

But Americans wanted 'CHANGE'! So, in 2006 they voted in a Democratic Congress and, yep - - we got 'CHANGE' all right!

    1) Consumer confidence has plummeted!

    2) Gasoline is now over $4.00 a gallon!

    3) Unemployment is up to 5% (a 10% increase)!

    4) Americans have seen their home equity drop by $12 TRILLION DOLLARS & prices still dropping!

    5) 1% of American homes are in foreclosure!

    6) As I write, THE DOW is probing another low - - 11,300 - - $2.5 TRILLION DOLLARS HAS EVAPORATED FROM THEIR STOCKS, BONDS & MUTUAL FUNDS INVESTMENT PORTFOLIOS!

YEP, IN 2006 AMERICA VOTED FOR CHANGE! ..... AND WE GOT IT!!!

NOW 'BO' (Barack Obama), the DEM'S CANDIDATE FOR PRESIDENT, CLAIMS HE'S GONNA REALLY GIVE US CHANGE!!

JUST HOW MUCH MORE 'CHANGE' DO YA THINK YOU CAN STAND?

    From http://www.factcheck.org/askf...

Most of the figures in a widely-circulated e-mail are made up. In fact, the entire premise of the e-mail is a logical fallacy.
Like most of the chain e-mails making the rounds, this one is inaccurate. Some claims are outright false while others are grossly out of context. Overall, the e-mail commits the logical fallacy known as post hoc ergo propter hoc (or after the fact, therefore because of the fact).

    Here's what we found:

Consumer confidence has fallen since October 2006, but it was not at a 2 1/2 year high prior to the elections. In fact, consumer confidence varies less with elections than it does with general economic conditions, many of which have little to do with the actions of politicians.

Gas prices were not at $2.19 per gallon before the election, but did reach that point nearly a year before the election and again (briefly) two months afterward.

The e-mail actually understates the equity drop by $500 billion. In fact, the stock market lost $2.8 trillion in equity from its most recent high point. But the e-mail fails to make clear that the high point happened nearly a full year after the election. It also neglects to mention that the market is higher now than it was in November 2006. (this was before the recent crash ...'

(this was before the recent crash brough on by Republican-led deregulation)

There's no clear figure on how much home equity has been lost since 2006 (the two most widely used measures give vastly different sums). But home equity loss and higher foreclosures have more to do with some unsavory lending practices and some bad decisions by homebuyers than they do with congressional activities.

The e-mail commits a whole series of post-hoc fallacies. That is, it assumes, without offering any evidence, that because one thing preceded another, the first must have caused the second.

We did find one accurate assertion, though. The unemployment rate really did increase from 4.5 to 5 percent.

I think we should take all the ophans and foster kids and dump them on the door steps of the prolife people. Along with the disfigured and incapable of taking care of themselves.
then I think we should have someone rape the prolifers. Then have a family member who is mentally challenged have incest with them... And lets see if they think abortion is something we need..... Remember the days of women using coat hangers.....

I don't think it should be used as a form of birth control.. But in the cases I stated above... You tell me... tho we should think that the catholic church doesn't believe in birth control either so thats a scary thought...

    (ok on the joking side)
We would not have Britney Spears, Michael Jackson or Rosie O'Donald......just think George W....( ok I like him lol but thats for those who don't)

That could be a + for reason for abortions...

    Compared to Palin.....

"My government is my worst enemy. I'm going to fight them with any means at hand."

Former revolutionary terrorist Bill Ayers, right? Not exactly, says Heisler, who is actually quoting Joe Vogler, founder of the Alaska Independence Party. Somewhat off-putting for lipsticky veepie attack dog Sarah Palin, since that’s the secessionist party that her hubby, Todd, belonged to for seven years. "Keep up the good work," Palin told the Alaska Independence Party, "And God bless you."

Then she abused the power of her elected office…Remind you of someone???? Sounds like GWB!!!

If you like the comparison than please use Obama's excuse, she was 3 or 4years old when he (Vogler) was killed. The AIP was not a terrorist group and their agenda was less government control by "peaceful means". Not once did they set off bombs in the Pentagon or blow up abortion clinics. Vast difference in the two organizations. Ayers is a "professor" but he's been actively traveling to other countries (surprise, not Countries that are allies) and praising them on their activities and claims "should have bombed more" as early as 2001. He is unrepentant in his (real and active) terrorist activities. Obama lied flat out last night that it wasn't true that Ayers gave him his first fund raising in Ayers own living room. Its a known fact yet he still denies it. He's promoted by known terrorist and thugs in other countries. Big Big difference than Palins "shout out" to AIP who is for what a great deal of the citizens in this country also want.... Less Government.

im not contemplating on having an abortion, im only 16, thanks.
however, i think that the choice as to whether or not an abortion is murder or not is up to the woman who IS contemplating about having an abortion. it should be her choice and no one elses.
if one is so set on someone not having an abortion, then they can go right ahead and adopt the child the birth mother does not wish to have, even if that means they end up with 100 children.
its better to abort than to hear in the news 9 months later of the mother who dumped her child in the trash and let it die because she didnt want it.

however, by considering that playing god, isnt hooking someone up to a machine playing God if thats all thats keeping alive? arent the doctors possibly keeping that person alive when it was their time to go?

no one can really define what is and isnt 'playing God'. Its all opinion anymore.

and i believe God forgives everyone, no matter what.
