June Jobs Report Shows Unemployment Has Remained Unchanged: Is This Good or Bad News for Obama?

The jobs number is a big factor in the election. The fact that the June number is flat is very interesting for the political landscape. Many pundits have suggested that President Obama is running against the economy, not Mitt Romney. But with the jobs growth number unchanged, Obama might actually have to run against Romney after all. Is the news good or bad for the President?

MONEY.CNN.COM reports:
Hiring was lukewarm last month, with employers adding jobs but not enough to bring the unemployment rate down.

More Americans were added to the disability roles than got new jobs last month and Obama and his Harvard educated economists promised 5.6% unemployment if he got his trillion dollar 'stimulus' package.

harvard educated economists promised 5 6 unemployment dollar stimulus package

Do the 50% of Americans that pay no federal income tax care?
    Unlikely.

Do the record setting number of Americans that receive government money care?
    Probably not.

Do the political activists that will vote Obama no matter what care?
    Of course not.

Does not matter what the facts are. 90% of the media will report these bleak numbers as good news. Fox and a few blogs will report it as bad news and most Americans will focus on Matthew McCaunaghey's new baby.

No but the crappy economy means everything. On that alone he will lose.

Add jobs, Ozombiecare, gas prices rising again, majority against his job approval and country direction, the tax increase to the middle class. I could go on and on.

But the more telling facts are

High unemployment for blacks, hispanics and women. The 3 main focuses of his base are the hardest hit economically.

They will stay home on Nov 6th. or if they do vote it will be for Romney.

Just like gay marriage, in polls people are PC. but in actual votes they will choose the other side.

Bad news for Obama, but HE says it's a step in the right direction. Really.....and what fantasy liberal utopia is an anemic economy the right direction, Mr. President? Oh, I forgot, you come from the jacked-up leftist view that more people dependent on government is a good thing. Obama's trickle-up poverty, it's working!

to many regulations on American farmers, if you pull an onion out of the ground and drop it on the same ground by mistake you have to throw it away but if the same thing happens in another country it's fine to eat, Democrats hate America

I don't know why everyone is bitching about the economy. Leave it alone, that's what they should have done in the first place. A normal economy has recessions when people become stupid and spend more than they have. It isn't any one person's fault, until they tinker with it. If the economy gets to bad where you live, you can move to another state that has a thriving economy (I.E Oklahoma, Nebraska, Texas, New Mexico, ect, ect).

I got 30 of those 4.3 million jobs Obama & Biden claim to have created. 30 store review jobs as a sub-contractor, for a contractor, for the USDA. I also had 2 different U.S. Census Bureau positions, too. All 32 of those jobs have long been completed.

The numbers are bogus in any event, shadow stats.com. True unemployment 17% and higher. Jobs created ,part time and lousy pay. Obama is destroying the economy, not helping it ,just as alinsky and cloward and piven taught him. read about alinsky here. http://www.crossroad.to/Quote...

It may just be that the lobless rate is going to remain higher and never go back down to the pre recession level. Problem is no one wants to admit it especially politicians. My prediction is that even if Romney wins it will still stay higher and he can't create jobs any more than Obama can. Only demand and innovation can do that.
