June Jobs Report Shows Unemployment Has Remained Unchanged: Is This Good or Bad News for Obama?

The jobs number is a big factor in the election. The fact that the June number is flat is very interesting for the political landscape. Many pundits have suggested that President Obama is running against the economy, not Mitt Romney. But with the jobs growth number unchanged, Obama might actually have to run against Romney after all. Is the news good or bad for the President?

MONEY.CNN.COM reports:
Hiring was lukewarm last month, with employers adding jobs but not enough to bring the unemployment rate down.

More Americans were added to the disability roles than got new jobs last month and Obama and his Harvard educated economists promised 5.6% unemployment if he got his trillion dollar 'stimulus' package.

harvard educated economists promised 5 6 unemployment dollar stimulus package

Do the 50% of Americans that pay no federal income tax care?
    Unlikely.

Do the record setting number of Americans that receive government money care?
    Probably not.

Do the political activists that will vote Obama no matter what care?
    Of course not.

Does not matter what the facts are. 90% of the media will report these bleak numbers as good news. Fox and a few blogs will report it as bad news and most Americans will focus on Matthew McCaunaghey's new baby.

Anyone willing to study the matter knows that the employment situation in this country is the direct result of many decades of policies put in place by the kleptocracy/oligarchy we now have in place. To think that a Romney or an Obama has any say in the matter is folly. Let the revolution begin.

    Yeah, it kinda does.

Bearing in mind that both "mainstream" political parties are inescapably socialist and destructive of the conditions required for national and local economic function, the National Socialist Democrat American Party (NSDAP, 'cause they quit being "democratic" the moment they passed ObamaCare over the enraged opposition of their own core constituencies) is just a WEE bit worse than the Red Faction.

Not much, but the difference is perceptible even to the most idiotic American voter.

Getting rid of the Republicans in 2008 was a good idea, no question. "Crash Test Johnnie" McCain was - if anything - markedly WORSE than even Dubbya had been.

But the idiots voted in the Mystery Marxist Mulatto to do it.

Kinda like treating your lung cancer by developing metastatic malignant melanoma.

Right now, Willard Mittney - the Republican "establishment" jerk-off anointed by our lamestream media as "the presumptive candidate" - is doing nothing more than letting the voters know that he's NOT Barack Hussein Obama II.

    And that's it.

Jeez, he might at least put his original long-form birth certificate in the hands of a panel of qualified forensic documents examiners prepared to testify under oath as to its validity, completeness, provenance, and reliability.

That's something Barry the Bastard can't do, right?

Technically Mitt is Mexican considering his father, grandfather were born and raised in Mexico. If you people continue to claim that Obama is not an American because his father was from Kenya then the other also applies. Get over it and Obama showed his long form on National television and I have yet to see Mitt's unless Fox News has invented one.

"Technically Mitt is Mexican considering his father, grandfather were born and raised in Mexico."

    Hey, great argument!

Keep pushing that message, okay? That would mean that the ONLY candidate the Red Faction can nominate at the RNC would be....

    Oh, joy! Dr. Ron Paul.

Nice to have the chance to vote for somebody whose political policy is nothing more (or less) than the ENFORCEMENT of the U.S. Constitution.

Screw the Etch-A-Sketch, dump the Illegal Alien, and let's fix this friggin' mess.

There are so many reasons this is occurring that POTUS has no control over, yet due to politics gets the blame.More focus should be turned to global and national corporations that refuse to hire or create jobs despite record setting profits. And before I get hammered as a liberal, etc Congress is the only branch empowered to levy taxes, check your constitutional law....

You are absolutely correct Joshua. All bills of revenue must originate in the house and sense the house is controlled by the Republicans they have the power for up or down on tax bills. And for all you distractors, the President did propose a jobs bill but the Republicans stopped it because they have vowed to prevent any bills that they feel will help the President and they have admitted it. They want the economy to tank.

The U.S. economy is NOT "in recovery" (even a supposedly slow or "jobless" recovery) in any way at all. We're not even holding our own.

And this is because the productive sector of our society views our Marxist Mystery Mulatto as a vicious threat to everything honest entrepreneurs are trying to do.

With the fantasy of "constitutionality" now firmly fixed to ObamaCare (though now it's ObamaTAX, of course), there is no hope that this horrible fascist hit-job is going to be mitigated, and NOBODY in the small business sector wants to hire anybody.

First, they're pretty well convinced that their customer bases are going to be shrinking because real unemployment will just keep going up. Second, they don't want to suffer the increasing penalties imposed upon the private sector by Odumbo's fellow New Party socialists in the federal government.

To get our economy growing - and that's what it's going to take to get people back to work - we need not only an end to this National Socialist strangulation of economic activity (Duh!) but also spectacular public prosecutions which hunt down the criminals in the Obama Administration to settle them in federal and state penitentiaries for the rest of their miserable lives.

Not just a discontinuation of the practices and policies that got us into this mess, but an emphatic repudiation of the bases for those hideous abuses of government power.

Failing that, we might go with the informal remedy that sees the lampposts of Washington D.C. decorated with the dangling corpses of our elected and appointed federal officers.

The better to discourage their successors.

Steady high unemployment is never good, remember he said if congress voted for his program unemployment would never reach eight percent. The more important issue is workforce participation. That number is very low and getting worse in other words people have just given up looking for a job therefore they aren't even counted in the unemployment count.

The numbers do not reflect the underemployed, the part time employed or those who have removed themselves from the job market. The actual numbers are much higher. To have zero new employment the job numbers must match the immigration numbers which are 125000 per month. If the new employed do not meet this number, we are actually going backwards.

We aren't even keeping up with the population growth. Of course it's bad. We need to get rid of our Socialist President and all the Socialist congressmen such as Sen. Harry Reid, this Sen. Al Franken goofball, Rep. Emanuel Cleaver and congresswomen such as Sen. Barbara Boxer, Sen. Dianne Feinstein, Rep.Debbie Wasserman Schulz and this Pelosi nut and get someone in there that believes in Capitalism and Democracy. If Americans don't want us to end up like Greece they better wake up and start learning a little about what made this country great and little about how to keep our freedom from a dictatorial. government.

So in other words you want a dictatorship where only one party is allowed to run the country and any opposition is crushed imprisoned or killed. One country tried that and 6 and one half million Jews died from that policy.
