It's been about 15 years since JonBenet Patricia Ramsey, a 6-year-old beauty queen, was murdered in her home. The case remains unsolved, but her parents were finally cleared in 2008, though they have always been criticized for involving their daughter in beauty pageants, in much the same way "Toddlers and Tiaras" has been criticized recently. But even JonBenet's father, John Ramsey, was put off by the show.
He explained, "It's very bizarre ... And, it certainly - [JonBenet's mother] and JonBenet didn't approach it that way ... They just did it for fun. I saw an element of competitiveness that I thought was unhealthy. I used to always tell [JonBenet] that it's your talent that counts, don't worry if you're not always the prettiest." The fact that JonBenet Ramsey's father is candidly criticizing the children's beauty pageant reality show makes us wonder: Can "Toddlers and Tiaras" be dangerous?

Actually, this isn't for the kids - more often than not, it's for the moms rather than their precious dumplings.
It is okay for maybe kids a bit older, and maybe once in a while (and not on national television).
Just the creep-factor of that show should've gotten it cancelled long ago.
Oh wait, it's a show? That sounds stupid. Even the grown-up versions are stupid. (Someone should deliver some C4 in the middle of the night, when nobody is there.)
