This program is the most disturbing example of what our society considers to be entertainment.

its bad for the little bratty girls and especially the ones that are like 1 year old

they really should shut down toddlers and tiaras. it's degrading to the kids. they hardly are knowledgeable enough to want to do it - it's really more because the mother wants to be famous. and also it's a beauty pageant for children - wtf? thought we weren't supposed to portray anyone under EIGHTEEN in a suggestive way?

Let's not wrap out kids in any more blankets than we already are.

I am however a little concerned about some of the male judges sitting there with a almost sick look on their face while watching these toddlers act like swim suit models, how come no one is questioning that?

Dangerous to their MENTAL HEALTH!!!!!! What the hell is wrong with people?! Are the moms anxiously awaiting for their daughter to come home and say "Hey, mom? I'm going to have my face ripped off and have a new one replace it." Maybe...just maybe they want them to shoot themselves in the head because they are no longer that "cute little pageant beauty" that she was when she was a baby or toddler. Ooooh! How about "Mom? I'm pregnant and I have NO effin' clue who the daddy is...." because they kept sleeping around with guys to make up for the love and affection they missed out on as a child. Sick, sick, sick! No damn wonder kids are turning out they way they are these days. They are not treated like kids...they're being treated like show dogs or something.

The biggest danger for these little people is their parent's. These children don't have a choice. It's very sad! There should be a law against it ,to protect the children!

Just the idea of having a show like this on TV is ridiculous and what makes it worse is that the producers know this, and are probably doing it anyways for the big bucks..

You are sticking your children out in the public begging someone to eye them. That leads to the wrong eyes looking at them. There are lots and lots of extremely sick and dangerous people in the world. Why set your children up as targets.

Only do it if the child really wants to and dont get so caught up in it.

'Toddlers and Tiaras' are a good way to help young girls gain scholarship money for a later date. The problem comes in with the overzealous mothers teaching the girls the wrong lessons in completion that has lead to petty jellies actions and bitterness that carry on to adulthood.

kids should get to be kids. if when they are older they want to do something like that than great!!

I've seen that show, and I think that it is kind of dangerous. I mean, some of those little girls love pageants, but the majority of the time its the mothers living vicariously through their children, and losing, or placing badly, is unacceptable. I think that it just puts girls against each other, to be the best, the prettiest, or the most talented. The parents are encouraging rivalry at a really young age. It does teach little girls manners and poise, but I absolutely hate the over sexualization of them. In those shows the little girls wear more makeup than I do.

I'm sorry but if its such a problem you shouldn't critisize the show, if this is the case There shouldn't be pagents for anyone of any age, a pedofile or rapist may more so enjoy seeing teenage girls with "developement" on t.v & they have pagents like that all the time, so if everyone is gonna complain about every show that has something wrong you should:

[A] Get ride of your t.v & internet

[B] Don't have friends

[C] Be the person who regulates what shows or doesn't show on T.v

[D] Take over the world so that you can Control everything

Everyone saying this about this show isn't gonna stop it.

These are just opinions and thoughts we type on here. There's no such thing as high rating for this show, I beleive that 70% of the ratings are from the Pedo's while the rest are other little girls and mothers getting caught up in the show.

Parents take responsible for your action and rise your children, don't pass the buck on to events that you are suppost to be involvled in.
It needs to be fun, light heart, stress then can handle not you, Boundaries and goals they like to rearch and you only encourage. and you don't over do it. It's their time in the spot light not yours.
Let Children be children and have fun (pretend and imaging) , encourages growth mental, but don't make them growup too fast. the Shows have lots of benefits to allow a child to have fun, meet others and develop there own charater, parents usaully blow it for them. (have fun).
