Jon Stewart Turns Michele Bachmann Into A Radical Islamist By Creating His Own Conspiracy Theory
By Stephen D. Foster Jr.
July 21, 2012

We all know that Michele Bachmann is by far the craziest and most ignorant representative in Congress. That's why it's very scary, not to mention ridiculous, that she is on the House Intelligence Committee.

Lately, Bachmann has repeated her own made up conspiracy theory that Hillary Clinton's Deputy Chief of Staff, Huma Abedin, pals around with the Muslim Brotherhood. It's an absurd theory that both Republicans and Democrats have slammed Bachmann for, yet she refuses to back down from her baseless claims.

Enter Jon Stewart. In response to Bachmann's terminal stupidity, The Daily Show host made up his own conspiracy theory tying Bachmann herself to radical Islamists and his theory hilariously shows just how nutty and woefully unqualified for public office the Minnesota congresswoman is. Perhaps Bachmann ought to investigate herself and not attacking a woman who merely has brown skin and a foreign sounding name. Bachmann is clearly desperate for attention and we can only hope she disappears and becomes as irrelevant as Sarah Palin.

Here's the very entertaining video:

Great post - thank you! I love Jon Stewart. People think he's a comedian, but actually I think he's more of a satirist. (I think he and Mark Twain would have had some interesting things to see to each other.)

One of the things you've done in your responses to people's comments is point out, which should be totally obvious (especially to someone in Congress like Michelle Bachmann), Huma Abedin would have had to go through incredible background checks to work for the State Department. I mean seriously, folks. John McCain took to the Senate floor to admonish those members of Congress who sent the letter to the State Department's Inspector General seeking review. She's been compared by more than one of being much like McCarthy.

You mean a team of anti-America, freedom-hating, progressive, communist, leftist, partisan, political hacks with the brains of a bucket of rocks do what mobs of angry, intolerant liberals do best. Go out and destroy anyone that does not think like they do. Since all Representative Bachmann did was ask for an investigation into this woman's background. All you liberals with no intelligent, logical, rational argument to not investigate do is you play the ol' race card and attack to destroy with extreme prejudice the one who suggested it professionally and personally. Why? A threat to make sure after she's made an example when she's destroyed that everyone else had better keep their mouths shut?

Who is this nobody unknown wanna be partisan political hack foster jr. anyway? If he really believes Bachmann is the craziest, most ignorant representative in congress. Then this fool is blind in both eyes or he has them shut tight because it's the only way for him to have overlooked a few. Like waters, wasserman, pelosi, waxman just to name a few. Otherwise I'd have to say he's a liar and a slanderer in his hate distorted assessment of Bachmann. Yeah boy he's real lucky that good ol' barney frank is no longer in congress. There is no overlooking that slug..........

BTW why are you so a...

BTW why are you so afraid to do a background check on this muslim abedin? You're all willing to investigate when there is no evidence what so ever and that's your reason for doing the investigation when there's an "r" after some body's name. I believe the reason you're trashing Bachmann over this is you are afraid of what the investigation may find out. And really terrified that Bachmann was right to have called for it. The other possibility is that you already know what the investigation will turn up. And that would make you traitors........

Ms. Abedin underwent a thorough background check before she could work for the State Department. And thank God you're not in Congress otherwise Michele Bachmann would only be the second most delusional racist anti-American nutjob in that august body.

Brilliant! I'd love to see a penetrating expose on Michelle to see if she's Pro-America, or Anti-America. I really would.

I know you will dismiss this outright. But unless Huma has denounced her own Mother's belief's, there are questions about her.

Here’s the resume, according to Nonie Darwish, of Huma Abedine’s mother:
Dr. Saleha Mahmood Abedin is one of the founding members of the Muslim Sisterhood, and more importantly the long-time chairperson of the “International Islamic Committee for Woman and Child” (IICWC), which wants to impose Sharia law on Egypt, and eventually, the West.
Let’s take a look at the IICWC’s stated positions:

Laws criminalizing female genital mutilation should be revoked. (And where are the feminists of America when it comes to the Muslim world? Hiding under their beds.)

The laws forbidding child marriage below the age of eighteen should be revoked, with no minimum marriage age.

The laws forbidding marital rape should be revoked and that polygamy is a right for men.
A health check-up before marriage should be revoked since it is against religion and should not be part of the marriage contract.

No right of a woman to register her newborn by herself for a birth certificate because the child belongs to the father even if it was the product of adultery.

Parents cannot be prosecuted for physically or mentally abusing their children, as long as the punishment does not ...

There is no formal "Muslim Sisterhood" you know, and while there are Muslim women's groups, they do not advocate terrorism or violence. Moreover, I don't give a damn what someone's father may have done or what someone's mother may have done. Children are not responsible for the actions or statements of their parents. If they were, we'd have Jenna Bush, Mary Cheney and Ron Reagan in front of firing squads right now. The "guilt by association" attacks are just as ludicrous as Jon Stewart made them in the clip.

As for the "IICWC", I'd love to see some reliable documentation of what Breitbart claims (as usual without any documentation or other proof) are their "stated goals". Here's what THEY say are their objectives. I don't see anything about genital mutilation, legalization of rape, child marriage or child abuse:

    Objectives

1.To highlight the respectable status of Woman in Islam, helping Muslim communities to return back to the pure "Islamic Source" which has established her status with justice, gave her her rights since the dawn of the justice message of Islam.

2.To help advancing the life of Muslim woman in all aspects: educationally, healthwise, financially, intellectually, etc. That will bring to the Muslim societies a responsible woman, a devoted pious wife, a kind mot...

2.To help advancing the life of Muslim woman in all aspects: educationally, healthwise, financially, intellectually, etc. That will bring to the Muslim societies a responsible woman, a devoted pious wife, a kind mother, and a cooperative sister to others in the mission of developing and improving Muslim communities.

3.To spotlight the role of the Muslim woman internationally, through conference attendance and presence, workshop and symposium organization, aiming to strengthen the human relationships, and to share what Islam gave the Muslim woman of rights and advantages with women in the world, who still striving to get some of these rights.

4.To emphasize the media role in its printed, audio, and visual forms to present the Muslim woman experience through exploration of the Islamic history and civilization as a role model, to other communities and movements to study and to take as example.

5.To defend Muslim woman rights in reference to Islamic Law. These rights are basic human rights, which have been acknowledged first by Islamic Law, then recently by international laws and treaties, including the right to express her Islamic identity and customs freely, in all countries. Also, to reject any violation of Muslim woman rights on the basis of her religion, appearance, or costume.

6.To coordinate, organize, and harmonize the efforts of Islamic organizations and entities active in family issues, especially in international conferences activities.
