If you ever watch Stewart outside the confines of his show, he is very well informed and thought out in his positions. He has to be to be able to generate the punchlines for his show.
The difference here is Stewart takes facts and makes jokes out of them while O'Reilly takes jokes and pretends they are facts.

And you thought Barack Obama and Mitt Romney were the only ones participating in a hearty debate about the future of America. Turns out, Jon Stewart and Bill O'Reilly will have at it, too! The 90-minute debate between Stewart and O'Reilly will take place at George Washington University, but fans of either TV personality can live-stream the debate for $4.95.
Stewart is referring to the debate as an “old-fashioned duel of wits” and O'Reilly says the two will be “debating the state of the union and how the upcoming election is likely going to effect it.” So, who do you have your money on?

The two "parties" are obviously working against The People.
It's too bad The People are not able, for whatever reason, to see it... because it is so very very clearly apparent.
Who will CARE?
Hello, Andrew Mackriss, wherever you are!
If you watch him, he & his team don't give a rose to anyone because of political "party" & make very clear, very important points using sarcasm. He's pretty unbiased when it comes to calling out stupidity & dishonesty in our elected officials. He also calls out various so-called "news sources" on their errors/failings... because it's THEIR job to give us clear, unbiased news & they fail at it all the freaking time.
I suggest an open-mind & objectivity when considering Stewart.
... after all, it's what we complain THEY don't have, so we should not be the hypocrites, should we?
His interviews with the Republican officials are excellent & respectful. In fact, I would submit that they are better than the interviews with Democratic officials, which are sometimes too full of fluff.
Regardless, I would suggest objectivity as opposed to hypocrisy.
...it makes for better debate later.
How about this? If Jon Stewart wins, Fan’O has to donate the legal maximum to Obama’s campaign. ;-)
At least some liberals are admitting Stuart is an Obama drone now.
Had you ever seen The Daily Show, you'd see that Stewart calls Obama & the Democrats out just as much as they deserve... which is often. He doesn't hand anyone a rose just because of their political affiliation... never. He really is more unbiased than just about anyone on TV.
Were you to be unbiased & less of a hypocrite, you'd be able to see that.
Poor, sad, intimidated, little, foolish boy.
It is certainly entertaining to see you boohoo all over yourself.
Keep diggin', Dude, maybe one day you'll get to China... but you sure aren't getting any closer to climbing out of your hole.
:-D
is a Hell’s Angel on a Harley.
In a real debate (which we won’t get any of, not in the Presidential race — both Parties have crafted the rules of the “debates” over time to whittle away any chance of real intellectual confrontation), Obama could demolish Romney and cost him ½ his support by asking one four-word question:
“Where was I born?”
No matter how Romney answered that, he’d lose ½ his support: either the independents and saner Republicans, or the Birthers.
He'll have no problem taking on a Jacka$$ like O'Reilly.
Bill will be fare... without a doubt.
;-)
