John McCain relies on the electorate being dumb?

Have you noticed that if a republican that is persona non grata to the GOP makes a statement, McCain will sound off and say "that's over the line" (AKA Michelle Bachmann) or some obscure repub/dem conflict that the electorate couldn't give a toss about? Yeah McCain will say something against his own party.

Why does he do this? To give the impression that he's a moderate: that he doesn't belong to one party and is a fine, upstandin' "merican".

But on anything important, that gets a whole bunch of press, he is always silent.
John McCain thinks he's smarter than the rest of us...When he gets umbrage on something that is real big news his dissent will be noted.

But he won't. He waits. He watches how much press something gets and if it's on the sidelines he will pretend to be the middleman of true non-partisanship and take a dig.
If it gets serious press he won't say anything.

Sorry John. We've already figured out that Batshit Bachmann is shunned by the republicans and nobody pays any attention to her crazy ramblings.
