The girl was with 15 other people believed to be in the country illegally who were traveling to the Midwest and northeast United States, said Chris Hegstrom, spokesman for the Sheriff's Office.
"She's been turned over to ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement) to try to determine where she's from. She told us she's from El Salvador. That's what she told us," he said.

+21Once again, another fair facts post from another liberal. He was protecting her from the people she was traveling from. The girl is now safe. Have you never read about all of the slave trafficing through Arizona? Everyone, please do the research and you will catch another liberal in the act of reporting half truths to stir up confusion.
Joe did his job by taking her in for questioning. She was in the group of people that he was arresting. Since she was with them, at the very least she was brought in to be questioned as a witness. There was also the fact that a little girl shouldn't be roaming the streets without a proper guardian to watch over her.
Anyway, I say no, because she is only a little girl. It also has not been confirmed that she is an illegal, only alleged. Deporting this young girl would be wrong, and even more so if she isn't an illegal after all.
If you read the piece, you would plainly see that she was removed from a group, and immediately turned over to the Immigration authorities who were conducting a human (and child sex) smuggling investigation..

That wasn't actually part of the article itself, but just a quote from Chris Hegstrom, spokesman for the Sheriff's Office. Of course he would try to justify their sick and heartless actions.
There is both local and federal Law Enforcement Agencies that are assigned to Human Trafficking, especially in Border States like AZ.
Why not learn a little bit about Law Enforcement procedures before attempting to make comments.
So, if these libs have an issue with the fact that the Maracopa County Sheriff's Office had to turn this child over to ICE, they should call their messiah Obama and complain to him.
Even though gays in the Military are allowed now (our friend Eric is gay) I would be willing to bet with his snarky attitude, if he had the guts to join, he would be the honored guest of a blanket party every night.

A 6-year-old girl and three adults were turned over to the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials Friday after Maricopa County sheriff’s deputies discovered 16 undocumented immigrants being smuggled in a van in the northern part of the county, officials said.
The other 12 undocumented immigrants were booked into a Maricopa County jail, said Christopher Hegstrom, a spokesman for the MCSO.
Federal immigration officials took over custody of the girl, who was from El Salvador.
“ICE Enforcement and Removal Operations worked closely over the weekend with the Department of Health and Human Services’ Office of Refugee Resettlement to provide for the timely and safe transfer of an unaccompanied juvenile girl who was part of a human smuggling load encountered Friday by the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office,” said Amber Cargile, a spokes...

In other words, if it were not for the action of those Deputies, that young 6 year old child could have ended up being sexually abused by some pervert in god knows where.

Joe had 2 kids of his own and now has 4 grandchildren....illegal or not, I'm sure that Joe wants to see the girl reunited with SOME relative.
