No, as we watch in slow-motion the utter destruction of our Republic, doesn't matter which political stripe you are, it is damned depressing. There's just no way around that FACT.

Did you know more and more folks are stepping in front of trains thanks to this Obama economy?

After liberals put on their victimization "oh poor me" attitude for long enough, they begin to really feel like victims. It's not healthy.

I hope so. Jesse and many Democrats should be depressed after they put all their eggs in the Obama basket and trusted him to follow the Democratic party line. Instead, their candidate has gone even further to the left, to tyranny and an obvious desire to be dictator.

I don't believe that crap about Jackson. Democrats should be depressed with their so-called leader.

Obama has tried to save us from the crooks and dummies. What have the repubs done??? Absolutely nothing but put more money in the pockets of their filthy rich cronies!

Obama gave RFK Jr $1.4 BILLION US taxpayer dollars. For what?

Where's the liberal outrage over that?

Oh, I forget. RFK Jr gets a pass because he is a liberal elitist. Besides being a wife-abuser.

There are more "filthy rich cronies" in the Democratic ranks than the Republican ones. Just that the Democrats like to tell you that the Republicans are the rich ones to divert attention from themselves. Look into the wealth and connections of Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi, Barney Frank, Chris Dodd. . . not to mention the connections of US Treasury Sec. Tim Geithner and his many ties to the wealthiest financial giants of the world.
    Obama speaks with forked tongue.

Ring-wingers are the cause of all depression cases in the universe because they are so exasperatingly ignorant and they don't do anything to overcome it - it's like they are from some evil planet trying to take over Earth!

That is rediculous. Jessie Jackson Jr., former cocampaign manager for 0bama,
is depressed for two reason, I would guess. First of all he is being criminally investigated
for trying to buy a Senate seat, and secondly because 0bama who has no loyalty
at all, threw him under the bus....

Seems like he's preparing his defense for the criminal charge. 'I couldn't help it. I was depressed.'

Or trying to get sympathy. I used to like him, when I was a Democrat..and
compared to his father, the racist Jessie Sr., but when he used race in the
0bama campaign for political gain, I lost all respect for him.

Depression is not the source of juvenile humor. It can affect anyone and is not usually circumstantial. If brain chemistry drugs are the treatment, then it is not environmental, is it? Those who know little about depression may think "get a grip!", but it takes more than that for major depression, requiring counseling and treatment.

If brain chemistry drugs are the treatment, why do those drugs often result in suicide or violence by those who take them? And who's to say that stress and emotional pressure doesn't cause the change in chemistry? And not the other way around?

The suicide because of taking medication is a chicken or egg question. Who knows? We should leave that to the pros.

I believe people can become depressed without "stress or emotional pressure". The brain chemistry issue is probably better understood than you seem to allow.

Jackson is on sick leave. It is reprehensible that Republicans are questioning that leave and attempting to turn it into a scandal. Don't they ever get tired of slithering on their bellies?
