His life is over. He deserves what he got, but damn, I would hate to have my freedom gone. I value my freedom very much. I don't think he thought he would get in trouble.

We recently had a bi-sexual sentenced to several life sentences here too, but we had a media black out on it because of the gay population here. The situation here was very similar in that everyone in the area knew that the guy and his dad were perverts.
We've had 2 gay school teachers charged in the last few years too. It is an epidemic.

What ticks me off the most is that the media here will bury the story if it is about a man raping a boy.
There is a gay pride fest here that started last year. THEIR SIGN SAID TO BRING CHILDREN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...

Most pedophiles are not gay. It is not the same. I may not be a fan of the gay community but I do know that you are wrong on this point. While many boys are abused by men many have been abused by women. I for one was abused by my own mother. Many more men abuse young girls. It would be nice if we have better stats on this but one of the things that make it so hard to stop the abuse of children is that abuse runs in cycles. My sister and I have stopped the cycle in our family but we did it by being brave and seeking help while we were young. If we had not it is while hard for me to fathom possible that one of both of us might have kept it going. So we need to make sure kids do not fear talking to someone about what happens to them so we can help them deal with what happened and not go on to offend. It is really not that much different than a man who beat his wife and kids and then the kids grow up to beat their wife and kids.

I have spent a lot of time studying this sort of thing and I have a book in the works that I hope to get published on day so it may help others.

He had to many victims and their testimony was real and convincing. Fox reported he probably wouldn't be convicted of all counts but RIGHT won over wrong. He deserves whatever punishment allowed by law and then the victims should be allowed to punish him .

reading the local papers, talking to State College residents, it seems a lot of people had heard rumors of sandusky's taste for young boys...

I am surprised he was not found guilty of all 51 charges originaly filed against him..

there was a lot of nittany lions fans / supporters / students etc. that got real nasty and vile in both their support of this pedophile and their attacks on any one that would even mention a negitive word against penn state..

all in all, sandusky is going to prison for his crimes, the victums still have a life time to feel the pain of sandusky's actions.. and

PENN STATE UNIVERSITY KNEW THIS WAS GOING ON , WHEN IT WAS GOING ON,, AND PATERNO DID NOTHING ....

the money people in Happy Vally had already decided,and they were not going to back him so he did not have the money for some big time defense and I dont think it would have done him any good anyway
