Jeb Bush to Speak at GOP Convention: Should GOP Feature George W. Bush?

Republicans announced that Jeb Bush, the former governor of Florida, will address the GOP at its presidential convention scheduled for late August. The brother of President George W. Bush and son of President George H. W. Bush enjoys support from conservatives and Floridians alike. The Republicans can benefit by energizing their base and winning the battleground state of Florida.

Democrats just announced that President Carter will address the DNC despite his criticism of Obama's human rights record. Many Democrats feel skeptical about having Carter speak in prime time because Carter lost re-election in a landslide to President Ronald W. Reagan.

Should the Republicans feature President George W. Bush at their convention? President Bush, the 43rd president, won re-election in 2004. President Obama ran a successful campaign in 2008 against John McCain by attacking Bush policies. Obama could try to link Mitt Romney to Bush and the recession.

TAMPABAY.COM reports:
Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush, former U.S. Sen. Rick Santorum, U.S. Sen. Rand Paul and Oklahoma Gov. Mary Fallin will be on the rostrum as speakers during the Republican National Convention.

Why? So Ron Paul can criticize the GOP and say he doesn't see the difference between Obama and Romney?

I'd like to see Obama's grades so we can compare them against GWB.

We get constant reminder of BHO's 'intellect' every time the teleprompter fails.

Oh yeah thats right ..... GWB didnt use a telprompter.

    Bush bulge

Hmmm what happens when technology (intelligence) goes bad? 45 seconds of DEAD AIR during a Presidential debate. OR ... if you prefer .... 8 minutes of "I dont know what to do".

Bush sounded like a bumbling idiot when he spoke. He is well known for it. Idk, if that is a reflection of his intelligence or not but it makes me wonder...

"There's an old saying in Tennessee - I know it's in Texas, probably in Tennessee - that says, fool me once, shame on - shame on you. Fool me - you can't get fooled again." ~ GWB

    Um, no.... he didn't.

according to your own article, he merely switched gears and worked towards getting delegates.

    You mean this article?

"Bowing to political and economic reality, Republican presidential candidate Ron Paul said Monday that he will no longer actively campaign in the remaining primary states."

So funny to see you Ron Paul drones in full denial.

From you that's a compliment hippie.

Some day when you start showering regularly you might have the credibility to question my sanity. Until then run along child.

Haha the best you can do is call me "hippie" and "child"? O'Reilly is a complete tard who gets destroyed in interviews regularly. He's on par with idiots like Glen Beck (and you apparently) who have no idea what they are talking about.

"Tide Goes In, Tide Goes Out...YOU CAN'T EXPLAIN THAT"

He thinks the tides are proof of God...go take a science class and you might actually learn how they work

What an idiot...I bet you don't know how the tides work either, do you?

thats because of some of the stupidcomments ron paul has made about 9/11. he said the white house was gleeful after 9/11 because it gave them an excuse to go to war. and several other dumb comments hes made hes put his foot in his mouth one too many times. that turns a lot of voters off.
