Republicans announced that Jeb Bush, the former governor of Florida, will address the GOP at its presidential convention scheduled for late August. The brother of President George W. Bush and son of President George H. W. Bush enjoys support from conservatives and Floridians alike. The Republicans can benefit by energizing their base and winning the battleground state of Florida.
Democrats just announced that President Carter will address the DNC despite his criticism of Obama's human rights record. Many Democrats feel skeptical about having Carter speak in prime time because Carter lost re-election in a landslide to President Ronald W. Reagan.
Should the Republicans feature President George W. Bush at their convention? President Bush, the 43rd president, won re-election in 2004. President Obama ran a successful campaign in 2008 against John McCain by attacking Bush policies. Obama could try to link Mitt Romney to Bush and the recession.

1. There are very few people that are not ok with temporary assistance for short term hardships or the mentally or physically disabled. That is a very small amount of hand outs anyway. It is the perfectly able people that CHOOSE to live off the backs of others that there is no excuse for and need to be cut off. They do not need to live in middle class neighborhoods with cable, cell phones, cable, cars, or other accessories in life. It would be good for them to be a little less comfortable. Lifetime entitlements do not teach them a skill set or in any way encourage them to better themselves. It does not really help them, their children, their neighborhoods, Orr the country. They can work like everyone else, and many will succeed when doing so. It has become a chosen lifestyle. It would be good for them to take any Jon they can for now or to have to beg neighbors because after a while they neighbors will say, hey you aren't even trying, go get a freaking job you bum. Something the government never does.

2. You blame the rich an then want a corrupt big government that makes cronyism worse. What you pretend to hate is what you are rooting for but you are too oblivious to realize it. When you attack the rich, you do not even punish the cronies, just the growing entrepreneur that provide jobs an opportunity and are the future of our economy. Socialism simply does not work. A Europe crumbles, you idiots push the same failed policies. And don't pretend Obama and the democrats give a damn about anyone as Obamas brother lives in a shack.
3. I am not sure what you mean about voting with your class. I am working class and I need a job, and every democrat policy destroys jobs for the lazy and their cronies.
Oh, by the way, thanks for Obama, W! Way to suck so badly, so completely, so mind-numbingly inconceivably bad that people were willing to vote for a militant anti-American communist as a reaction to your level of stupidity! Nice job. Hope you're proud, you moronic simpleton!
I said friends and family becasue I have Aunts, Nephews and cousins in thePensacola area, plus my best friends over in Kissimmee...
since I dont live there I need input from folks I know who have dealt with Jeb...and they all were fairly happy ...much better than the way most of us NY'ers feel about our present and past Govs
so pack upyour rudeness and goway
is worth 2 birds flipped-
Old school isn't appealing. Tea Party folks are hugely popular. The republicans lost due to the perception of the 'good old boys' club. Whether or not that was fair is moot. It happened.
So no, no Bush should be involved. Just like it's a huge mistake to put Carter on= but since that works in my favor... I don't have a problem with it.
No dear. You obviously refuse to see that Obama has doubled down on Bush policy. GITMO, Patriot Act, Rendition, Tribunals, Military force in Libya etc etc.
Obama's Keynesian economics have been an utter failure. It can't work, ever, because artificially propping up banks and manipulating currency with QE whatever the hell the number is coming up next is just an artificial financial construct, that sometimes works short term but never long term. Why do you think we always hear about a jobless recovery? It prolongs the mess preventing a financial reset.
