I've seen conflicting assessments of Mitt Romney's recent international trip. Let an Obamabot tell it, and they will claim Romney embarrassed himself. Do you think Romney's trip hurt his image overall?

The US Supreme Court has already ruled that the media is not obligated to tell us the truth. This is why many so called reporters are now calling themselves "media entertainers".

Let's take a look at the left.

Everytime the Democrats come to power in Washington DC, the Liberals and Progressives come out telling us all how they're going to save the world. Then, they devolve into ignorant blowhards who do nothing but attack the Republicans and political right guaranteeing they will unite together against the left. Meanwhile, the Democrat left continues their campaign of hate and stupidity attacking rightwing Democrats splitting their party against itself... then attacking Moderates and Centrist Democrats because they dare agree with rightwingers which then alienates over half the Democratic Party against Liberals and Progressives.

Under Carter, the left was so self destructive they united to support Ted Kennedy running against Carter... Carter won against Kennedy but the damage was so great that Reagan won even though most Republicans still saw him as a radical extremist which is why they overwhelmingly voted against him in 1976. Under Clinton, the left did the exact same thing that they did with Obama... they united the almost entirely rightwing Republicans as one and then split their own damn party against itself so that in the next election cycle the Republicans came back to power.

The Republicans are almost entirely rightwing with a lesser percentage of Moderate leaning rightwingers and a small minority of Liberals. Thus, since the 1970's, they have held majority power in the US not because we prefer them... but because idiots like you make the left look like a bunch of brainless twits who can't win except through convincing everyone they're a victim.

Islam is far more rightwing than Christianity and yet there the left is courting Muslims while attacking Christians for the very same things they attack Christians for... nevermind how they ignore the endless human rights violations against the very victims groups they represent here stoning women, killing gays and murdering their own children for being too "western" meaning they're too Liberal. So why in the hell is the left embracing Islam but attacking Christianity with so much hate they make all leftwingers look like atheists... it's because the left cannot survive except by convincing people they are victims and they think they can win Muslim votes by convincing them they are victims of the evil Republicans.

And who is it who has been attacking Israel for the past for years as being the great evil in the Middle East taking the side not only of the Palestinians, but taking sides with Iran as well... why my goodness, it was you leftwing morons and guess what my faux moderate friend... A true moderate does not make themselves oblivious to one side or the other as the Conservatives are not way out of control... and almost all real Moderates reviewing Romneys voting record and past beliefs before he decided to run for President know he's a Liberal Republican.

It's like asking why Obama's voting record is overwhelmingly rightwing and why as a US Senator he never once voted against Bush but in favor of everything Bush wanted... in fact, when Bush didn't have enough Republican support, it was Obama who got him the votes he needed to pass Bush's legislation.

The reason Obama gave so much support to Bush and his voting record is so rightwing is that Obama is also a rare breed... a Neocon Democrat! Neocons support the welfare system, they kick the door open to illegal immigration and they support military responses to situations where diplomacy are better served. This is also why Obama has made his secret deals, supported the Patriot Acts three worst provisions swearing his entire political career that if he couldn't repeal the Patriot Act, he would remove those three provisions... but when they came up for renewal under Obama, he led the charge to preserve them even with Republicans saying let them expire!

The media is now media entertainment because under Reagan, the Fairness Doctrine came up for renewal and even though those against it failed to remove it, Reagan did succeed in giving the FCC the right to choose if they continued it. FOX News then had a situation where reporters on one of their programs were trying to run a story on Monsanto where possibly dangerous milk was being created from genetically altering both cows and what they ate. FOX sat on the story because Monsanto threatened to sue. Rather than turning their story over to another network, the reporters wanted all the credit so rather than putting American lives as their top priority... they eventually took the matter to court refusing to give the story to anyone else who could have warned us and the courts agreed with the reporters. FOX appealed to the US Supreme Court and it was determined that there were no laws requiring the media to tell the truth, to report a story or even to be fair.

The end result is that every network... let me repeat that for you... EVERY NETWORK... lies, censors the news or simply doesn't report it.

The San Joaquin Valley is California's richest agricultural zones and one of the US's largest domestic food providers. Shortly after coming to power, environmentalists won a lawsuit to cut off all the water to the entire San Joaquin Valley to save a guppy. The entire valley began to die because it is totally dependent on water being pumped into the region. End result... billions in damage, the ecology of the entire valley ruined, Hispanics were hit the hardest with over 100,000 put out of work on farm jobs (which aren't counted into national unemployment statistics) and countless animals, trees, insects and pretty much everything began to die off. A region in California the size of Rhode Island turned into a relative dustbowl forcing the US to import more food from nations like Chile to provide for our needs and only FOX News reported it because all the other networks are leftwing and were censoring a story about one of the nations worst ecological disasters to protect President Obama.



Even now, MSNBC is airing commercials with their news personalities telling Americans not to vote Republican, blaming the political right for everything wrong and telling people OPENLY TO VOTE Progressive and Liberal. FOX regularly wins more viewers than all the other networks combined... because it's the only rightwing network meaning they have all the rightwing viewers and the other leftwing networks are fighting for what's left stealing viewers from one another and losing tens of millions of dollars every year because the CORPORATE owners of these leftwing networks are mostly rightwing and by manipulating the leftwing networks to dumb down leftwing viewers... they make hundreds of millions of dollars profit in their other ventures.

Is Disney, owners of ABC, left or right? Disney is a rightwing corporation. How about GE / Comcast who own NBC / MSNBC, rightwing or left? Again, they are rightwing.

If you are a true Moderate as you claim on your profile, no one has to tell you that our news media in the US is news entertainment and almost all true Moderates know and understand that all media providers are biased, they distort the truth, they censor and they are politically motivated. A true Moderate is intelligent enough not to put his foot up his rumpus attacking someone for pointing out an absolute truth about the media... that almost every news source today is like the National Enquirer with no integrity, no intellect and no concern for the truth. This is why their so called "news reporters" are beauty queens, lawyers, political analysts and uneducated biased buffoons.

I get most of my news now from foreign sources as even the Chinese news networks are more truthful about news happening in the US than our own networks. BBC America is a good source for news.

I am tired of seeing Conservatives get bashed in the tone you used when for all their faults, they are the largest group of voters in this country.

Moderates are second but the mark of a Moderate is they understand both sides have truths and both sides have faults. Each side has part of the answer and both sides are part of the problem. A true Moderate works across political and ideological lines trying to make things work... it was the Moderates and Centrists who from FDR to LBJ worked to make this nation great by finding greater unity to overcome diversity... as diversity is only a strength when it is overcome and absorbed into the majority constantly replenishing it. Diversity preserved apart from the majority is nothing but division... and that's what's been happening to this country since the 70's.

Hell, we don't even vote for candidates we think have any leadership ability as that doesn't matter... all that matters is beating the other side to keep them from imposing their views on us.

If you are a true Moderate... you see these things and are intelligent enough not to add to the problem, but to try bringing everyone together finding truths that we share in common instead of always focusing on the things that we do not share in common but which divides us or we know aren't true but we choose to support lies as long as they are lies telling us what we want to hear.

A false Moderate is someone on the right or left who isn't an extremist, they lean to the mainstream views we have in common or to the center... but every damn time they gain too much power, these so called Moderates ALWAYS SHIFT TO THE EXTREMIST SIDE WITHIN THEIR POLITICAL OR IDEOLOGICAL VIEWS! The Republicans did it when Bush jr was in power and could not learn even as they got their butts kicked in 2006 and again in 2008. Only when they were completely removed as the majority in Washington DC and the left began their attacks did the Republicans finally shift back to center to heal while the left shifted to the extreme left getting their asses kicked in 2010 and are well on their way to having it happen again in 2012.

Mitt Romney is a Liberal Republican and the views he expressed are the same exact views the left has been expressing about Israel and the Jews since Obama was elected President.

I am an Independent Centrist and I go after both sides... but since Obama was elected, the political left have been the ones far more arrogant and ignorant to the point of self destructing. The Obamabots have one heck of a nerve to label Governor Romney's trip as anything else as being successful.

As a man who took over the failing Olymics in Salt Lake City, and not only saved it, but turned it into a great success, Mitt Romney gave his “Professional” insight on the subject, and it turned out to be a correct one. It's Great Britten that should be not only apologizing to Romney, but kicking themselves in their collective butts for not going to him for professional advice in the first place.

In Israel, rather than insulting Prime Minister Bibi Netanyahu, and sucking on the crank of every arab terrorist leader in the region (as the current occupant of our White House did and is still doing) Governor Romney impressed on the friendship and the closest of ties we have with Israel, and in doing so, put the America and Israel hating arab terrorist in their place..

Mitt Romney's Poland stop gave hope to the Polish people and Lech Walesa, knowing that when Governor Romney becomes president, they (Poland) will have the United States' full support.

There is absolutely no way that the Obamabots and the Obama ass kissing media can convince anyone with common sense (which leaves liberals/progressives out) that Mitt Romney's trip was anything other than successful..

A furious reparation operation was thus launched immediately upon Obama’s inauguration. It began with his opposition to free trade agreements with friendly Colombia, South Korea, and Panama. He thoroughly upset the Chinese by slapping high tariffs on their tires, and the Canadians by prohibiting Air Canada’s charter fleet from flying their NHL teams between U.S. cities – leading to promises of retribution from both countries. His signing of a “Buy American” clause has been methodically vilified by Brazil, Canada, China, Japan, Australia, India, Singapore, France, and the European Union, among others, some of whom have been compelled to trigger retaliatory measures.

Yes, an international trade war brought to you so swiftly and so single-handedly by the Citizen of the World himself.

Obama went on to repair our relations with the world by defiling our relations with our best friends. It began with his expulsion from the Oval Office of a Winston Churchill bust, and was followed, to the shock of the British, by the omission of a formal dinner upon Gordon Brown’s visit and a cancellation of a joint press conference due to “snow.” This was before Obama threw a box of (inoperative) DVDs at Brown in exchange for the latter lavishing Obama with a pen holder carved out of wood from a warship that helped fight slavery, not to mention other superb gifts.

Brazil also received the cold shoulder when Obama moved a visit by the Brazilian president because of St. Patrick’s Day, an event that apparently just snuck up on the White House. This was followed by the classy misspelling of the Brazilian president’s name in the official announcement. In the meantime, Americans had to read in foreign newspapers that officials overseas could not reach the Obama administration to discuss the G-20 summit because administration officials were not answering phone calls.

Switzerland is another country that has gotten its share of snubs from the Obama administration, with the financial haven having become a victim of American internal politics. In response to a controversial U.S. suit, the Swiss are now pushing for punitive measures against the U.S., including the repatriation of Swiss gold from America. And due to Obama’s vast fiscal irresponsibility, calls are increasing from around the world, including the United Nations, to replace the U.S. dollar with a different reserve currency.

Obama has also attempted to rebuild America’s image as a beacon of light by turning a blind eye to the Iranian government’s murder of pro-democracy protesters. More recently, the Nobel Peace Prize winner killed the funding of the Iran Human Rights Documentation Center, which was working hard to catalogue the human rights abuses of the Iranian regime. That’s one international bridge rebuilt – with Iran’s murderous Basij militia on the other end of it.

As part of an apology tour, Obama made a speech in Cairo that was intended to boost his reputation at the expense of America’s. His attitude was no different when, upon the election of a pro-Western parliamentary majority in Lebanon, his official statement merely praised the fact that an election happened, and not the election results themselves. Insultingly, about one third of his statement – 60 words – was literally copied and pasted from a generic section of his Cairo speech that didn’t even address Lebanon specifically.

Yet Obama had no difficulty picking sides in Honduras, where he embraced a dictatorial violator of the Honduran constitution, Manuel Zelaya, when the latter was expelled by his people due to despotic actions. Now a presidential election has been scheduled with the agreement of even those in Zelaya’s own party. The only person opposed appears to be Obama himself, a reality that has Hondurans justifiably frightened by what the American might do to get his way.

The judicious post-Bushian quasi-deity has also demonstrated his diplomatic sincerity by appointing to a variety of vital ambassadorial posts his top campaign “bundlers.” The Swiss have expressed their disapproval at Obama’s selection of Don Beyer as ambassador, preferring an individual with an understanding of financial issues and diplomatic experience. Likewise, the Japanese were disappointed by Obama’s choice of another half million dollar bundler, John Roos, interpreting the odd pick as a sign of disrespect to the world’s second largest economic power.

Strangely, all of these valiant reparation attempts by Obama have not been merrily received by the international community. Despite the siren-like beauty of Obama’s words and the incredible extent of his apologies, the Europeans have refused to send additional troops to Afghanistan. North Korea has yet to heed his call for a nuclear-free world. Few countries have volunteered to take on Guantanamo Bay prisoners. Russia is blankly watching as Obama resets relations on his own by abandoning the Central European ballistic-missile defense shield.

The British unilaterally released the man convicted of killing 270 people, including many Americans, in and above Lockerbie, Scotland. Iran is going forward with its goal of acquiring nuclear weapons. The Saudis were hardly swayed by Obama’s gentle request to relax relations with Israel. The Chinese and Indians have yet to sacrifice their economies at Obama’s environmentally-friendly feet. The Israelis and Palestinians are for once united, this time in realizing how inconsequential the American president truly is.

In March, the Pakistanis opposed cooperation with the U.S. by a disturbing margin, 61%-37%. Obama has since achieved the unimaginable by exacerbating that margin to 80%-18% – change we can believe in. Polish newspapers recently shouted “Betrayal! The U.S. sold us to Russia and stabbed us in the back,” after Obama unilaterally withdrew from an American commitment to its European ally. Czech newspapers, equally affronted, echoed the sentiment, writing that “an ally we rely on has betrayed us.” Good thing Obama is repairing Bush’s broken relations!

Two weeks ago, Chicago was one of two favorites to win their bid for the 2016 Olympics, until Obama tried to buy the Olympics with his perceived popularity (in the White House’s own words, Obama “would make a huge difference”). His appearance, however, resulted in Chicago’s elimination in the very first round of voting. According to those on the ground, security inconveniences and the fact that IOC members had to wait 45 minutes outside Michelle Obama’s door to meet her – while she was supposed to be in Copenhagen to lobby them – contributed to Chicago’s loss. So did the fact that Obama showed up at the last minute, while others had been lobbying the IOC members for far longer.

But while nearly one hundred members of the international community denied Obama the Olympics in Copenhagen, precisely five other Scandinavians attempted to make amends a few days later by lavishing Obama with the Nobel Peace Prize. Immediately, a shocked world expressed its disappointment, including peaceful former recipients of the Nobel Peace Prize. Even in Norway, a top party leader declared that the act had moved the prize away from the intent of Alfred Nobel. A British commentator put it best: “The achievements of all previous winners have been diminished.”

Yet in a stunning act of pomposity, Barack Obama has accepted the undeserved prize.

To be fair, Obama has received some praise from international leaders. Comparing Obama with Bush, dictator Hugo Chavez proclaimed that “it doesn’t smell like sulfur anymore.” Tyrant Fidel Castro announced that Obama’s U.N. speech was “brave.” Former KGB man Vladimir Putin commended Obama on his cancellation of the missile-defense shield (the aforementioned betrayal of loyal allies).

But for those members of the international community who are neither dictators nor communists, Obama has proven to be a mockery – or worse, the rare symbol of American betrayal. Unfortunately, in the alleged words of French President Nicolas Sarkozy, Obama is “so egotistical that no one can dent his naïveté.”

And when I measure Romney's stances versus those of Obama, almost each issue on down the line I see that Romney is NOT a NWO backer. Nor is illegal immigration the sole litmus test. Abortion funding is another. As is Romney's solid capitalist viewpoint towards business versus Obama's socialism.

If you're a Ron Paul fan, then your own position is weak. For RP himself is not nearly as strong on upholding the Constitution's tenet of DOMESTIC national defense as is Mitt Romney.
