we are in primaries...super Tuesday and over 400 delegates up for grabs is rapidly approaching. and after the dust of that and the rest of the primaries and FINALLY the greatest test of this nation since the Civil War.
Since THIS election is probably the most important we , as a nation, has experienced SINCE the 1860's maybe we need to listen to the words of the man himself
“At what point shall we expect the approach of danger? By what means shall we fortify against it?-- Shall we expect some transatlantic military giant, to step across the Ocean, and crush us at a blow? Never!--All the armies of Europe, Asia and Africa combined, with all the treasure of the earth (our own excepted) in their military chest; with a Bonaparte for a commander, could not by force, take a drink from the Ohio, or make a track on the Blue Ridge, in a trial of a thousand years.
At what point then is the approach of danger to be expected? I answer, if it ever reach us, it must spring up amongst us. It cannot come from abroad. If destruction be our lot, we must ourselves be its author and finisher. As a nation of freemen, we must live through all time, or die by suicide”

+5This was prelude to the better description of a house divided cannot stand. We are coming close to that point whether we survive in history or join the ashes of many other nations.

+1we will see how THEY do....since it's the bicentennial of the War of 1812 this anecdote is worth noting after his defeat of Napoleon , The duke of Wellington was offered the Supreme command over forces in north america...HE TURNED THEM DOWN...in essence saying 'the country is too big you will never subjugate america...and The Duke was right.....remeber THIS my friend in the coming conflict..'tactics win battles..but LOGISTICS wins wars' interrupt logistics and a modern army falls apartreply
