    I used to live in Phoenix, and I am no stranger to 115 degree heat....it sucks!

    We live in Victorville, Ca. Its in whats called the "high desert" of So Cal, and its been in the low 100's for a week. I know Arizona is typically hotter than he....well, than here, anyway. Keep out of the sun and your drinks well iced!

    I was there when it was 117. I think it is close to living in hell but to each their own. Just like Florida great for the elderly keeps them warm.

    I feel so bad for you. I hope the animals are going to be okay. Snakes may like heat, but sometimes it can be too much for them even. They'll be sweating out of their imaginary pours. I wish you luck and I hope you're all okay. Hopefully you have an air conditioner.

    "pores" ; p ................Yes, we have a/c ,it isnt as hot where we are,we are at a higher elevation. Terra ate a BIG ass rat yesterday so a little more heat won't hurt her! Dusty goes in his "pool" if he gets too hot (he's a F@#KING DESERT SNAKE!) and Rojo would probably like a little time in a frying pan.

    I can't believe I made that type of mistake. Thanks for pointing that out. Oh.....well. I guess you're right about the heat. I sure it'll help her digest that food. :) I'd be more worried if it was going to be really cold outside. I'm always worried during the Winter months.

    It's 115 right now. My mom's car temp said it was 119 where she was about 20 minutes ago.

    I'm in the frigid northeast where the clock over the bank registered 109 this afternoon at 3 o'clock. Whenever I site the temperature on that clock people rush to tell me 'well it's in the sun,' as if that makes it not the real temperature. Where is it NOT sunny today?

    This photo was proven to be a deliberate fraud. It was a truck on fire near the lights, hence the reason they melted from the side, not the top.

    and the people who tried to make this "proof" of global warming knew it, according to witnesses. If you have to lie to "prove" your case it really proves the exact opposite.

    I looked that up and yes it was a fire. It had been falsely reported.
    However, as of August 3, 2012 they had 16 days straight of over 100 and on August 13 it was 113.

    Ok but I think these things are cyclical. In 1977 (I believe, if not that year then one or two on either side of it) either Time or Newsweek ran a cover story entitled "The Coming Ice Age" claiming global cooling was taking place and we were all doomed. They were full of it then, and they are full of it now.
