Yeah high security on international flights and stuff is understandable, but we don't need it everywhere...

If you're in a constant state of unwarranted fear, all the Enemy has to do is sit back, do a little 'tickling' and wait for America to implode into self-immolation with with little effort & THEY have won. Even (some of) the Jews were able to laugh in the face of grave peril in the death camps and some survived. They have a tradition of "Gallows Humor" which gave there tormented souls some reprieve and kept their personal psychology hale despite the agony.
Two millennia ago, the Christ concept was personified because the ruling Pharisees turned wicked and Salvation was made available to gentiles & other wretched folks in an attempt to humble them back into Grace. Looks like now, the net is being cast even wider and all social deviants who still show Respect (syn. Love) to Man & Nature are now qualified to find Eternal Peace. All have the Potential, but much won't have the Means, Will or Manner to prudently follow through on the New (Age) Covenant waiting on Threshold of the Pearly Gates, Paradise, Nirvana or whatever Fate awaits.
Since Genesis 2, and a cartoon strip from the 60's, "We have met the Enemy and It is US". The ONE wants us to return as Innocent Children with eyes filled Wonder (ya alahi), not as either Spoiled Brats nor Grumpy Old Men or anywhere on that "Axis of Evil".

Terror is only once every 4 years when we have to listen to the rePUBlican party open their mouths and tell us about all that they are afraid of. They fear nature. The GOP fears Dick Chaney. They fear George W. Bush. They fear Dick Chaney. They fear President Obama. They still even fear Bin Laden! In short, the GOP fears every one who is not exactly like them.
For the rest of America, our only fear will be that if Romney wins 2012, America will be sold to the highest bidder. China will most likely be the party winning all the bids. Romney will sell us out to China if it makes him $0.25 cents richer! Under Romney, no Americans with out at least as much cash as he has will ever have the chance to retire!
