It would be interesting to determine exactly when the designation at the University of Chicago equated the position of Professor with Senior Lecturer. The U of C statement was posted on the school’s website two days after the Clinton campaign issued a memo headlined “Just Embellished Words: Senator Obama’s Record of Exaggerations & Misstatements.”

Sweet: Obama did NOT "hold the title" of a University of Chicago law school professor.

WASHINGTON—The University of Chicago released a statement on Thursday saying Sen. Barack Obama (D-Ill.) “served as a professor” in the law school—but that is a title Obama, who taught courses there part-time, never held, a spokesman for the school confirmed on Friday.

“He did not hold the title of professor of law,” said Marsha Ferziger Nagorsky, an Assistant Dean for Communications and Lecturer in Law at the school, on East 60th St. in Chicago

The U of C statement was posted on the school’s website two days after the Clinton campaign issued a memo headlined “Just Embellished Words: Senator Obama’s Record of Exaggerations & Misstatements.”

The Sun-Times reported that, “Several direct-mail pieces issued for Obama’s primary [Senate] campaign said he was a law professor at the University of Chicago. He is not. He is a senior lecturer (now on leave) at the school. In academia, there is a vast difference between the two titles. Details matter.” In academia, there’s a significant difference: professors have tenure while lecturers do not.

A quick read of the article, “Inside Professor Obama’s Classroom,” written in the NY Times no less reveals that this entire game of semantics was nothing but a con job to make Obama appear that he was something that he wasn’t. What Obama would participate in a lie? LMAO

In fact the title of this picture is Obama at the chalkboard teaching Constitutional Law!

Many who have seen this picture before were led to believe Professor Obama was teaching Constitutional Law. Look closely he was teaching community organizing. Obama was not a professor he was a Senior Lecturer and nothing more. Read the double talk from the University of Chicago here.
